Brier Police Explorer Post #2062

Welcome to the Brier Police Department Explorer post #2062. Our advisors are Officer Art Audette and Mr. Roland Thierry. We are teenagers who are learning about the law enforcement field and in the future, become police officers. Brier is about 30 miles away from Seattle. Our police department is at 228th st sw Brier, WA. We help the community doing security at Brier-Terrace Middle School dances, a little fair called Brierfest, and Alderwood Mall. We join in the community during national night out so that they can know more about us. During the summer, we work with the Seattle police explorers and other departments at Seafair and the Jewish Olympics. Our goal is to learn more about the law enforcement field. When we go to the police acadamey, we will be more prepared than any others, and so we can be safe when we are police officers. You must be 14-20 years of age to join. You may not have any warrants or a major record. Before you get any equipment, you must go through a 3 month training period where you get to go to our local jail, our dispatching station and other places. If you would like to join, just stop by our station and ask about us. Please e-mail us for feedback on our website. Here is what we do training on and some cool web sites.
