CUDDLES

Now a bit about our first baby girl (I so dislike the term bitch which in the "dog world"
is the proper term for a female)! She has lived up to her name since day one. Her
resgistered name is Sun Country's Classie Cuddles! *S* And I
feel she's very Classie. And she loves to cuddle. Every
time I sneeze she runs to me and climbs on top of me and gives
me kisses and tries to comfort me. *S* She is very much a show girl and likes
being the center of attention and mommies's little lady! She loves to learn
new tricks and picks them up quickly. I have a dear friend who is a wonderful
animal trainer and, with her help I hope to take Cuddles to a Championship
in Agility and or Obedience. With her love of running, fetching and climbing I think she will
be a natural. It will be fun learning with her. Thank you Dorothy in advance
for all your help and patience with me, *L* the slow one. It isn't true you
can't teach an old dog new tricks but is is true of many owners! *L* We can
be a bit thick headed! But I digress. Cuddles is now 2 years old and came to live
with us at the age of 12 weeks. She too was found during a trip, this time
a vacation. Again I didn't want another dog. Three? Was my husband nutting
up on me or what? While waiting for our flight home from Florida Brian started
reading the ads and handed me his cell phone after circling several ads for
Maltese. Again several calls later, we decided to take a look at a puppy.
But we had a problem, we were at the airport and Michelle the breeder lived
over an hours drive away. We were short on time, then they announced our
flight would be delayed for a couple hours, Great! Gave Michelle plenty of
time to get to us. So we, being certain we would be going home with a new
puppy, made the arrangements with the airline to take her with us.
Unfortunetly she didn't make it, a truck over turned on the freeway delaying
Michelle and Cuddles. I had to leave with an empty dog crate. *CRY* I've never
been so broken hearted! Amazing! To cut this a little shorter, my sis-in-law
and I flew back 2 weeks later to get Cuddles.
Needless to say we are very happy with our decision
to make Cuddles a part of our little family. *S* Our first
baby girl! She is perfect! *S*
