mp_decals "4096"

This determines the maximum number of decals visible at one time, 4096 is the max number for this command, it prevents decals from just suddenly disappearing when for example too much blood gets on one wall.


cl_ragdoll_collide "1"

This one makes the ragdolls collide with each other, so they don't clip inside of each other. Makes body pileups look a lot better.


cl_c4dynamiclight "1"

This one gives the C4 bomb ticking light dynamic lighting.


r_lod "-5"


This one makes it so that the models always look their best from any distance, so when you get closer they don't suddenly switch to a different mesh.


r_decal_cullsize "0"

This one makes it so that decals don't just appear when you get close, it makes it so you can see them from any distance.


Useful Console Commands

These commands may be useful to some, but others may not even be interested at all.


mat_specular 0

Removes specular lighting (possible FPS gain)


mat_bumpmap 0

Removes bumpmapping (possible FPS gain)


cl_smooth 0


Makes the game loose some of its beauty, but 5-10 more FPS.


r_rainsimulate 0


Disables rain (more FPS).


fog_enable 0

Removes the fog, thus improving visability (more FPS).


cl_showfps

Draw fps meter at top of screen (1 = fps, 2 = smooth fps)

cl_ragdoll_physics_enable
