Elk Grove City Council '04 |
Special thanks to the Sacramento Fire Department, for their time at the 9/11 remembrance at the State Capital. |
Citizens of Elk Grove let's take back the city! Four years ago, the people of Elk Grove voted to incorporate and become a city so that the citizens of Elk Grove could control their own destiny. The citizens wanted local control over land use and planning decisions. Unfortunately, developers and their interests overrule the concerns of Elk Grove citizens like you and I. We have unreasonable traffic, uncontrolled growth, inadequate infrastructure, overcrowded schools, little job creation, and citizens who are not listened to. I'm running to take back the city for citizens like you and I. As someone who was raised here, I believe in Elk Grove. I vow to work towards Smarter Growth, Reducing Traffic Congestion, Improving Infrastructure, Creating Jobs, Supporting Small Local Businesses, and Enhancing Unity between the City and Schools in Elk Grove. With eleven years at Southgate Recreation and Parks, I have experience in management and community relations. I'll fight against interests bankrolled by developers. I pledge not to knowingly accept donations from developers. I'm running a community grassroots campaign. I ask for your support and your vote on Tuesday, November 2nd to take back our city. Thank you. |
