Agent Cubs Mug was
brutally murdered by Nina Myers, a CTU mole working with the Drazens to bring down minor agent Jack Bauer and current President David Palmer in a personal vendetta over some small technicality way back when. Nina was in the middle of murdering less-important mole Jamey Farrell, who was about to break and reveal key details about Nina's plan. Nina was too incompetent and foolish to do the job herself, so she enlisted Agent Cubs Mug against his will to finish the job. Nina brutally shattered Agent Cubs Mug's torso, leaving only his handle and lower body intact. Agent Cubs Mug had no dying words, being unable to speak, but a memorial service and a six-hour funeral was held around Arlington National Cemetery where Agent CM was buried. Tears were shed and it was clear that everyone still felt the lingering sense of heroism that surrounded Agent Cubs Mug.
