Birthdays
A birthday is a special day.
It happens once a year.
It’s the tim eyou get your way,
No matter how queer.
It’s when you get all the presents.
Cake and ice cream too.
Cats and dogs (and maybe pheasants)
Or maybe a novel or two.
So open them and have a great day.
After all, it only comes once a year!
But, really, all that I needed to say
Is: fill your birthday with cheer.
