Performance Training Services Offered

1. Movement Training
Ranges from linear to multi-directional speed & agility along with acceleration, deceleration and first step quickness

2. Strength Training
Improve and maintain strength levels throughout the body, integrating multiple joints and planes of movement and fast-twitch muscle recruitment all in a predominantly ground-based format

3. Testing & Assessments
Includes strength, movement and power tests specific to your sport or activity and also offers body fat, flexibility, blood pressure and other body measurements (NASM/ACSM protocols).

4. Program Design
Training program design according to the sport or activity and position played through the use of a sport analysis model.

5. Post-Rehabilitation
Functional reconditioning of the both lower and upper extremities, including but not limited to: hip, knee, and ankle joints, lower back, and rotator cuff muscles.

6. Flexibility
Improve functional range of motion (dynamic / static) all joints from head to toe.

7. Speaking Engagements
Provide presentations to teams, groups, and organizations on performance topics such as strength training, speed training, flexibility, nutrition, warm-up, and recovery.

A seasoned Performance Fitness Trainer, Roger works with athletes and non-athletes of all levels to identify and correct biomechanical and physiological weaknesses in performance and everyday life. His focus is on the integration of flexibility and stability along with strength and movement, a combination that allows him to improve the performance living and/or sport specific skills of each client.

Roger has worked with a variety of professional and amateur athletes in baseball, tennis and golf. He was a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the New York Mets and Chicago White Sox minor league systems, the Indiana State University Tennis and Softball teams, 1996 U.S. Amateur runner-up and professional golfer Steve Scott, and a Special Agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF). He holds a masters degree from Indiana State University in Health and Human Performance, is a future Physical Therapy student, has been published in 2 major Atlanta magazines, and is currently training clients of all levels at Equipoise in Atlanta, Georgia. Roger is available for speaking engagements as well as individual and team training sessions.
