We will also be concentrating on any rumored games based on the movies (can't be too far away) and some popular MODs for existing games based on The Matrix. Expect the rest of the site to go up soon. I don't know if this is related to the Anime bit (doesn't sound like it), but according to a report sent in to AICN, the company that made the Final Fantasy movie is going to work on a CGI, 10-minute prequel to the Matrix Reloaded (but wouldn't that be the original movie then? i guess this will be inbetween...why not just film it). BUT...it's supposed to be for either Internet release or to go with the DVD later on. Sounds interesting. Sub-Zero Matrix Anime - 10:38 PM EST Straight from, once again, ComingSoon.net: Besides "The Matrix Revisited" which will debut on DVD and VHS Nov. 20, "Matrix" directors Andy and Larry Wachowski have asked anime directors to provide episodes inspired by the film. "Matrix Anime" is being planned for a late 2002 or early 2003 video release.OMG that's gonna rock. The Matrix universe in the art form for which it was made! Thanks once again to Agent J. I'm sorry to have to say, but Aaliyah who was due to star in the sequels passed away in a plane crash in the Bahamas. My condolences to her family, friends, and all her fans. She had a bright career ahead of her, both as a singer and as an actress (which she showed her adeptness for in Romeo Must Die). Obviously it's way too soon for any word on what's going to happen to her role in the sequels. I'll let you all know of course as soon as I find out. You can read more about the tragedy here.
