Welcome to my page. My name is Josh Perrin. I am the founder and Team Leader of the NAI. I would like to start by thanking you for visiting our site and giving us a chance to present our ideas and services to the public. I hope that judging our pictures will tell you that we are not your ordinary ghosthunters (if there is such a thing) we do have lives, and we do spend our time enjoying our lives to the fullest. Although I am serious about paranormal research, I certainly do not let this stuff rule my life! It is simply a hobby that I enjoy, and I feel like others could use some enlightenment on this subject.

I've been interested in the paranormal for many years now (about 10 all together). My personal favorite areas of interest are the occult and unexplained physical phenomena. Anyone who would like to talk about these topics is encouraged to email me. I am currently working towards a B.S. in Computer Engineering and would love to hear from any other engineers out there!

I hope you enjoy our site, and we would love to hear any suggestions from others. Thanks again.

Some Personal Notes

  • Josh's Anti-UFO page* NEW *

One of my biggest complaints is when people don't take the study of the paranormal seriously. I'm not talking about jokes, like Ghostbusters, or something. I'm talking about people who think the entire subject of the paranormal is a joke! That's annoying.

I get some flack from my colleagues because I tend to go to the extreme scientific side to prove if ghosts exist or not. Gilman, for example, tends to accept the existence of ghosts (partially because of his experiences of growing up in three different haunted houses as a child). So, when we go to investigate, he is approaching from the view that there is something there and he just needs to find it (although he does require a lot of evidence first). I, on the other hand, take the approach that the occurrence is probably explainable by ordinary means. (at least until there is undeniable proof)

Now, let me clear something up here. I am not one of those who could see an apparition and then fool myself into believing that I didn't actually see it. (can we say "agent Scully?") I can say that I have never, personally, seen an apparition. (I do have a very interesting story, though. See the link below.) So, in essence, I am more interested in things like the Mystery Rock and UFOs, than ghosts. This is because these phenomena provide the investigator with real, tangible, materials to investigate. So, I would suggest that if you are of the opinion that ghost do exist, to e-mail us but address it to Gilman in the subject line. He would be more likely to correspond on that subject.

    Here's that interesting sighting story I mentioned earlier . . .

    The Energy Impression Hypothesis

This is just a very crude outline of our hypothesis. It barely touches upon the surface. We summarized it because we felt it would consist of more detail than most of you would care for. Depending upon the reaction we get from this we might display a more detailed and articulated version.
