Learning Results

1. Los Angels County ROP students will work effectively and collaboratively with others in the work place and community by: participating as a member of a team, exercising leadership, develop effective listing skills, completing assigned tasks, utilizing effective interpersonal skills, working with diversity, negotiating.

2. Los Angeles County ROP students will exhibit positive personal qualities and life long learning by:accepting personal responsibility for one’s actions, practicing healthy habits and physical fitness, demonstrating appropriate coping skill/self discipline and  positive attitudes, managing time and balancing priorities, demonstrating goals and personal timelines to obtain career and life goals.

3. Los Angeles County ROP students will use and apply technology to access, organize, and evaluate information needed to complete the task by: selecting and applying appropriate technology to the task, evaluating results, meeting industry standers.

 

4. Los Angeles County ROP students will efficiently manage and understand the use of resources by: selecting goal relevant activities, ranks them, allocates time, and prepares and follows schedules, using or preparing budgets, making forecasts, keeping records, and making adjustments to meet objectives, applying, storing, and allocating, and using equipment, materials or space efficiently, assessing skills and distributing work accordingly, evaluating performance and providing feedback.

5. Los Angeles County ROP  student will acquire and demonstrate job skills that serve as a foundation for career and employment opportunities by: practicing job safety, demonstrating punctuality and expected attendance, practicing codes of ethics and legal responsibilities, communicating effectively, completing a resume, job application, and simulated interview, solving problems and making decisions, teaching others, serving clients/customers, dressing appropriate.
