Within the press, the stadium, everybody was rooting for the home team the Southside Jugglers and predicted victors. Unfortunately the North side Bouncers had something to say about respect. Yes, the Bouncers wanted the victory from the start. Last night the Northsider's didn’t rest until they surpassed the almighty Jugglers from the Southside by 12 points. The score was Bouncers 92, Jugglers 80.
For the Bouncers, this represented an action thought that couldn’t be done but it was done. The Jugglers, came with an impressing 5 wins in a row. Although they did lose there last 10 of 12 games at home. The Jugglers also had two gifted players, Jerome Thompson and Leroy Jones, who average 20 points per game.
The two teams started off very even. The game had many ups and downs. The Bouncers moved very well and knew how to put restraints on the Jugglers star players.
In the beginning of the first quarter the score was 25 to 26 in favor of the home team.
During the second quarter, the Bouncers lowered their rhythm just a little and the Jugglers took advantage of this action and lead by seven points. The score now is 38 to 31.
The Bouncers’ trainer, Andy Wilcox, benched Seymour Stone, who was well accompanied by Brian Dexter. The change felt very weird towards the Team, because Wilcox hustled very little when it was time to be on defense.
With two minutes left to play during the first half and the score 44 to 43 to the visitors, Jones, combined with Thompson, for a tremendous play to close the first half.
During the third quarter, Wilcox came back with his squared title, and the Bouncers, finally improved on their defense. Bret Armstrong dedicated himself to guard the all-star Thompson, who was considered the Jugglers biggest threat with 18 points.
With the entrance of the future prospect Brandon Turner, The Bouncers’ found their rhythm, which they had been showing during the first half. Turner contributed to block the all-star Thompson, retrieve the ball and finish with a monstrous dunk, which left the home team crowd with their mouth wide open. With a huge velocity and excessive scoring, the Bouncers were quickly catching up, while the home team was lacking everything it worked for. At the end of the third quarter the scoreboard indicated that the Jugglers, were up by 11 points.
In the end of the fourth quarter, the adrenaline of the Bouncers continued until the end. When all was said and done the Bouncers pulled off an unbelievable victory to win the first championship on the moon.
Through the crazy bounding, slipping, bruising, cutting, cursing, the Bouncers overruled all of this and are now living legends. The final score now is Bouncers 92, Jugglers 80.
