Welcome to Michael S. Leake's Domain!

Mike, Emma, and Preston admiring the Boston Red Sox World Series trophy at Williams College
It seems as though our days can be filled with either opportunities or obstacles. The only difference between these two perceptions is perhaps how we choose to view them.

Jesus is always with you! (Yes, YOU!) He died because he knows that you have done things that are wrong in his father's (God) eyes. Jesus wants you to join with him in heaven in spirit when you die from this earth, and also when He returns to bring us all home, in resurrected bodies just as he did three days after his own death.

He was not held to the cross by nails. He allowed himself to die and was suspended by LOVE - love for you!

It may not seem to make much sense if you are not a believer, but God is above us as much today as when He formed the world. His love is quite incomprehensible - but believable!

Jesus loves you, and so do we!

God is good! This is proven to me every time I allow Him to be more at the head of my life. I can see Him at work in not only mine but the lives of my family as well. I am constantly reminded that unless we allow Jesus to work through us it is very difficult to be happy.
Lena is continuing to homeschool the children, Emma has finished the 6th grade and Preston 2nd grade. I still fill in as "substitute teacher" to help out, but I mostly try not to throw off the schedule too much.
Spring projects around our house have begun - Praise the Lord! Lena and I worked together to rebuild out garbage can shed, and are going to replace the kitchen floor this summer. Painting projects and landscaping abound

Emma has finished baton and is looking forward to start babysitting, and Preston is taking a break from little league baseball this spring. Both kids are also taking piano lessons and really getting into it.

Lena and I are hoping to "grow" our family more, which required surgery on my behalf this Feburary - no official news to report yet. This is an area where were would appreciate your prayers that we might seek God's plan and not our own.
