June and Bob's mother was Lillian Blanchard Minnerly, and their great grandmother was Diana Foster Blanchard. About the above photo June says, "I have it on the
wall
in our workroom. Surprisingly I do remember going to that photographer
and
I even remember that my dress was made by my mother in pale green
organdy
with flowers embroidered by her on the yoke."

BYRON BLANCHARD, son of Diana Foster and Isaac Newton Blanchard.
Byron Blanchard was born
in Hardwick, Vermont, September 5, 1857; he moved to Anita, Iowa about 1893.
He
married Mary Holmes, born in Carthage, Missouri, March 1, 1871. Byron and
Mary had 10 children and 14 grandchildren.
