Bit of a miscalculation of points. There were 2 dogs absent at the show and broke the major. Beauty's win over the class males, and 2 female specials was not a major. Still a nice win from the classes, over a multi group placing special. So back to hunting that one elusive major!

9/30/2006 We went to the Fingerlakes KC show for the day to take advantage of the CERF and Cardiac clinics. We took Aysa, Seger and Torrie to be CERF'd and Torrie for the Cardiac clinic. All passed.( I would have taken
Ripple along for a Re-CERF, but she was spayed on Thrusday, and didn't feel up to the trip.)

About the Book
Follow a litter of puppies from birthday until they go to their new homes. The diary contains lots of pictures, tips on puppy rearing, some breed specific information,
and lots of information on the care of any breed of dog.
I started doing an on-line puppy diary since many of the people that would be getting one of my pups would not be able to travel here to see the pups. I did not
want
to put a bunch of cute puppy pictures online, and encourage anyone to have a litter just because they wanted to see cute puppies! Breeding dogs, if done the right
way, is a lot of work. Lost sleep and sometimes heartache. It takes a lot of time, effort and money to raise a litter of puppies. Once I started doing The Puppy
Diary, I realized I had a captive audience. These people logged on every day to see the pictures, and read what was happening. I used this opportunity to cram as
much education into each day as I could. Health, Coat issues, grooming, feeding, socializing, vet care, puppy evaluations, shipping puppies.... you name it! I tried
to
put it in The Diary. It was suggested that I make it into a book. Well here it is! There are 560 pictures and over 300 pages of living with and watching one litter
grow up. I am sure may conscientious, caring breeders raise litters similar to the way I do. Its is a good look into the time, money, commitment it takes to
bring
up a litter of pups. Some of the things that go on behind the scenes, that the eventual puppies owners (family), never realize go into the litter.
Enjoy my litter as I see them. Day to day

The Judge was Arja Koskelo. In Finalnd the judge gives a critique of the dog.
Adorable 8 month old puppy with a very beautifull and expressive head. Excellent body proportions. Good bone and feet. A bit straight lay of shoulder and
hindangulations could be stronger. Excellent movement, but carries his tail a bit high. Very pleasing character.

our co-bred grandkids finished his UKC started title this weekend! and finish his AKC Rally title April 8th with a score of 98 and 3rd place. Congratulations to his owner Stephanie Ayers. Blue was bred at Beltane Curlies by Molly
Kirwan.
CH Soft Maple Natural Finish ROM, ROMX qualifies for her Register of Merit Excellent
6/10/2006 Gambol (U-AG1 Softmaple Frolic In The Wind) finished up the last leg (with a second place) for her U-AG1 title. 
At The Finnish Club Championship show in the end of July and Denzel got very good and placed 3rd in his class there. The judge was Stephanie Richard, Australia
Good bodied dog with very good coat. Needs more leg to balance. Head a little blocky. Eyes loose. Good neck and front. Esemble very good ribbing and hindquarter. Moved soundly.
