Miss. Scarlet is probably the most outgoing character in the movie and the most comfortable in her own skin.
Miss. Scarlet was called up to the house because, like the others, she was being blackmailed by Mr. Body. She, however, is the first and only one to openly admit that she had actually done what she was being blackmailed for.
It seems that Miss. Scarlet runs a little business in which 'a man can meet in the company of a lady...for a short while'. Hmmm........
She was the one to receive the candlestick.
