Wadsworth

"He decided to put his information to good use and make a little money out of it. What could be more American than that?"

Wadsworth is the best character in the movie. He's the smartest, and the only one who truly remains cool in their situation. (though even he has his little 'breakdown' moments)

"I'm not shouting!! All right, I am. I'm shouting, I'm shouting, I'm shout--"

During the course of the movie, it is revealed to the rest of the guests that he was the true host. He invited them all up there to the house so that Mr. Body would finally be brought to justice.

It turns out that his wife had been another victim of Mr. Body's blackmailing. She had had friends that were socialists.

They had been forced to work for him for nothing in exchange for his keeping silent. Wadsworth's wife hadn't been able to take such a lifestyle, and committed suicide.

"You see? Like the Mounties, we always get our man."

Wadsworth, like I said earlier, is the only one in this movie that can actually think. While all the other guests bumbled around, he tries to keep his head straight.

He is even the one that figures out who did what to who in all three of the endings. I applaud him for his intellegence. Yea, Wadsworth!!! And despite the fact that he is the smartest, he still gets to crack some of the funniest lines.

On one last note, if you've seen the movie, you know that there are three seperate endings. Needless to say, I love the first two and hate the third. So sad!
