David Boreanaz was exposed to television by his father at a very young age. His father was a veteran weather forecaster for WPVI in Philadelphia. And after seeing an inspiring performance of "The King and I" at the tender age of seven, a strong sense of longing had begun to grow inside of him. He had a strong feeling that acting would be somewhere in his future.
After graduating from Ithaca College, he moved out to Los Angeles to try his luck at acting in Hollywood. He was on such shows as "Married With Children" and "Men Don't Lie".
But these small time jobs just didn't quite cut it. While starting out, he also had jobs such as parking cars, handing out towels at a gym, and once in a while doing a commerical or two.
It was the day that he was out walking his dog in a Hollywood neighborhood that a manager spotted him. With his intense and brooding look, it's no wonder that David was signed right on the spot.
