He went to school at the University of St Thomas (in Houston) where he majored in business, his main focus on law. While he was there, he took a drama class because of a girl he had met. The girl turned out to be an airhead, but he fell in love with drama and continued to do all kinds of theater.
After graduating, (in 1988) he moved out to Los Angeles and got a job waiting tables. After only 8 months of looking around the entertainment industry and getting an agent, he scored a part in "Just Perfect. The connections he made on it led to another movie, and thus his career as an actor was beginning.
When Sean first saw "Raiders of the Last Ark", he thought it was the most exciting film he had seen in a while. Naturally, he went for the title role in the series spawned off of the legendary triology and got the part.
After being cast for the YIJC, he flew to England and spent four months in rehearsal. This included several months of horse-back-riding lessons.
Part of his makeup for the series includes a fake scar, which is fashioned after the real scar Harrison Ford has on his chin. It's amazing the lengths they'll go to, isn't it?
