Stefan, who is played by a very fine Michael Watson, is bad-boy Radu's younger brother.
And in actuality, he is really only his half brother. Radu is the result of their father with a witch, whereas Stefan is the final product of their father with a mortal woman.
He lives at peace with the mortal world and is supposed to be next in line to posses the Bloodstone. His father wanted him to have it, depsite the fact that Radu is the eldest, because he is decent to humans and isn't power hungry.
