Sasami is Ayeka's little sister, and the second princess of the Jurai royal
The reason Samsami has gotten into this whole mess was because while Ayeka was getting ready to leave in search for Yosho, she sneaked into the ship. She did so out of general curiosity, and party because she wanted to follow her big sister.
On Sasami's forehead, there are two small right triangles pointing downward. Originally, they weren't there. Instead she had two pink circles, but they were only there for ornamentation. The new marks are a result of an accidnet when Sasami was littler. She had wandered into a room that had many springs in it, and she fell off an edge. She really would have died if it had not for Tsunami. Tsunami entered her body to help her live, and now Sasami shares it with Tsunami. (how'd you like that to happen to you? oops!)
Because Tsunami is now inside her, she has the ability to change into Tsunami's form, and has dreams that tell her the future. She was also able to awaken the Jurai powers in Tenchi.
Despite that fact that Sasami is the youngest member of the Misaki household, she is the most mature. She is actually a good cook in comparison witht the rest, and can perform household chores without any accidents.
In nature, she is patient and gentle, and is the only girl that is living in the Misaki household and isn't obsessed with Tenchi.
