Levels within the (profession) are based on (basis) primarily. We also take into account several other factors to a lesser degree though.
We use a point-based system to keep track of the characters in-house level. Simply you gain enough points, you gain the level. If you lose a level somehow, you have to start at the beginning of the previous one. Leaving the clan and then returning will result in a first level character. The character restarts from scratch. Note that a character's recognition level has no bearing on their rank in the clan, we are skill based, not time based.
Level one is less than ten points
Level two is ten to twenty-five points.
Level three is twenty-six to fifty points
Level four is fifty one to one hundred points
Level five is one hundred+ points
Earning points is different per occupation. For the (class) they are accumulated as follows
Five points per storyline involving a deity directly (ie, the deity grants the request of the cleric)(class specific)
Five points per memeber converted over to the religion of the deity of the cleric. (class specific)
Four points for aiding a clan member in a quest of behalf of the deity of the cleric.(class specific)
Five points for each recognition level period the character has been a member of vTx.
Four points for starting a posting thread which develops into a storyline involving more than one other member.
Five points for starting a thread which turns into a storyline involving five or more members.
One point per witnessed duel against a non-vTx member.
Five points per recognition period without a GM warning.
One point for a private storyline (if involving a deity, see above).
Special: Attains double experience if the deity considers the cleric to be an imortant follower/demi-god(dess).
