To have sung a different song
To have fought and then lost
To have been kind and then chilled by frost
To have imagined a reality
To have believed what never was
To have lost faith and not know what one does
To have been determined and failed
To have escaped and soon be jailed
To have shared a love which left
To have plenty then be scarred by theft
I have seen the sun set
