"All This For You"
Many times I thought to myself
What is wrong with today’s guys?
How could they not see
The princess I see with my eyes
With a beautiful face
The kind you fall in love with from the start
So full of intelligence
And kindness in her heart
To win her heart
Would be sweet bliss
To be able to hold her tight
And feel her gentle kiss
So full of confidence
But yet modest too
She’ll do sweet things
And appreciate the sweet things you do
I’ve known her for so long
We’ve been friends for a while
This poem I will truly show
What I would do to make her smile
Just know that I was just thinking
All these verses came out of the blue
This is a poem to the lovely Sanibel
