Stubborn and independent from a very young age, Juro never quite fit in with the pack like the others. Picking fights with the other pups, going off on his own, and being generally argumentative with the adults landed him in frequent trouble. As he aged it only got worse; he began gaining a sense of ambition. Fiercely loyal as any Dire Wolf should be, his loyalty did not prevent thoughts of leadership, and superiority. It wasn't long into his life that he decided his place was as the Alpha of the pack, despite how traditions may normally go. Seeking to prove his place, at the age(AY) of 23, he challenged his pack Alpha to a fight: wanting to prove his worth once and for all. It was a fierce battle, but he nevertheless lost; probably in part due to his own overconfidence and lack of respect. Scarred, shamed and outcast, no longer welcome in his pack; Juro wandered the lands heading North, trying to find some focus for the ambition he still felt burning within him.
