He worked as slave master and foreman deep in the minds of Obsidian Falls. There he took great pleasure and delight in ripping the hides from the minions that fell lazily to the glass floors. When they would not rise he'd devour them before their heart stopped beating, then turn with his bloodstained face and glowering eyes to see if he had another meal in the making. Then he was called forward, the dark lord had need of his muscle. He was sent on the hunt for the Dark Lord's daughter - Lozen. He was granted mating rite once he captured and held her here in Obsidian. The Dark Lord had plans for her - and for their children. Haelin had been selected to sire a breed of creatures unlike any the world had yet to see. She was a difficult one to catch and even harder to hold. But catch her she did and he presented her to his Lord only to have her and her brother escape once they'd destroyed the dark lord and Aizen took over Obsidian Falls. He was a hunter, though, and as such would not surrender to a loss so easily.
