Actor Biography

He has a twin brother called  Kelly Donovan.
During the off-season of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' Nicholas often grows a goatee, while his identical brother, Kelly, stays clean-shaven. This often leads to fans mistaking Kelly for Nicholas.
He got into acting as a way to overcome his stuttering problem and he served as the honorary chairperson of the Stuttering Foundation of America's Stuttering Awareness Week in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Character Analysis

Xander is not a demon, or a witch, or a vampire, Xander has no powers or special abilities to speak of, his is however totally loyal to Buffy. He sometimes wishes that he had some sort of special ability as at times he does seem to feel left out when it  Buffy comes to allocating responsiblities to the scooby gang. He is just an ordinary man, but he is the one thing Buffy can always rely on to support her.
