Actress Biography

She worked with Sarah Michelle Gellar on "All My Children" before "Buffy" and they were good friends. Sarah was the one who recommended Michelle for the part of Dawn.
She grew up in New York but moved to LA three years ago with her mom. Her dad still lives in LA.
Appeared at the Excel centre at a Sci-fi expo alongside Kristine Sutherland (May 2002)

Character Analysis

Dawn is Buffy's Sister, but it wasn't always so. She used to be a key, a magical and powerful object which if it fell into the wrong hands, could be used to open a doorway to a hell dimension. Monks took the key and made it into a person, Dawn, and used Magic to create the sister Buffy never had. The result meant that Buffy protected the key, even with her life, as it was the most precious thing in her responsiblities.
