Underground Fighting and Gambling

A new place to play has opened up in RavenBlack City. It seems to be an organized fighting arena, where you can bet on the outcome of the many different contests being offered and going on. Why not check it out at: RavenBlack Gambling Center! This could be the one of the more interesting ways to gain some coins.

A Rebuttal to the "Little Birdie"

The accusations placed against Virgil defending Cap's Crypt are wrong. At the time that these accusations were made Virgil was with most of the warriors helping us to kill UpbeatSweetie. I can vouch for this because I logged on several times a day and he was always in the square where he had previously been, he hadn't moved.

Virgil states that the incident talked about happened two weeks ago, at which time he was not in BlackHaven. Someone needs to check their facts before someone goes making accusations. And next time someone wants to go making accusations someone might like to leave their name instead of acting like a coward and hiding behind an anonymous letter.

More problems for the RavenBlack Supreme Court

Problems continue to plague the newly formed RavenBlack City Supreme Court. It seems that Capadocious and Archangel can't agree on much of anything and are arguing nearly every point to a standstill. Problems began when DeathReaper pointed out that Archangel is a member of every governing or enforcing body of law in RavenBlack City. He is the head of the NightWatch, a member of VampCongress, a justice on the new City Court and a justice on the Supreme Court. This led Capadocious to ask Archangel in no uncertain terms to relinquish his duties on at least some of these groups. Archangel retorted that he has never had a conflict of interest in the past and he would recuse himself as a Justice were one to arise. This answer did not satisfy Capadocious, who continues to ask for Archangel to give some ground on this issue. Archangel staunchly refuses, which has left DeathReaper asking if there is anything the panel can agree on!

New problems arose when Archangel proposed that The Supreme Court hear the case of Cerridwen vs. The Shadow Court. After DeathReaper rightly pointed out that personal involvements would cause all of the justices save for one to recuse themselves from the case, Capadocious requested the case be tried by the VampCourt. This statement incensed Archangel, who has stated that the NightWatch no longer recognizes VampCourt and that City Court is the place this trial should be held.

This has only led to more fighting between Archangel and Capadocious with no end in sight. The situation is compounded by the fact that The Shadow Court may not even recognize the alleged authority of the new Supreme Court and may not even agree to appear or accept any kind of judgment.

It seems that all arms of the "government" of RavenBlack City are falling apart rapidly, which begs the question if any of this government is truly needed at all. Many citizens of the City has been extremely vocal in that no government is needed in a city of vampires, and even if one was truly created none of its laws or judgments would not be followed. So the question that lingers in the air now is... why bother with a government that many will not follow?
