The Story

Role playing is simply writing a story with a bunch of friends. Each person is responsible for their own characters in the story. They control their thoughts and actions. When you have a few people working on the same story, it's amazing what you can come up with. Each person combines their own ideas, making it more interesting and adding many different twists. In our rp(role play), we have eight different characters. Aimee, Paige, Clair, AJ, Spike, Angelus, Tory, and Xander. Each character has their own unique personality. Yes, this is exactly like a soap opera. Aimee is a witch. She's slightly new to our rp, but certainly not to Sunnydale(the place this rp takes place). She tries to present herself as a weak, novice of a witch when really, she's been practicing her craft for quite a while and she's more powerful than thought. Whether she's good or bad is unclear because she does a little bit of both. Aimee's secret is sort of shocking. She's an old witch that was burned at the stake a long time ago, during the Salem Witch Trials, and is cursed to stay in Sunnydale until she can gain enough power to break the spell. Paige is also a witch, but she's more powerful than Aimee. She's from LA and moved to Sunnydale. Her brother was a vamp, her mother was a witch, and her dad left when she was younger. Paige is evil, and killing doesn't seem to bother her, just like most of our characters in the rp. For extra energy, she drains people, which kills them. Clair is a vampire from a small town in Georgia. Her sire(the vampire that made her into a vampire) is Spike. Most vampires have a bond with their sires and stick around each other. Spike feels that he needs to protect Clair all the time, mainly because of that sire/vamp relationship. Since Clair is a vampire, she kills people. Most vampires do unless they are cursed with a soul. A vampire with a soul basically has a conscience and knows what they're doing is wrong and feel guilt. AJ is a vampire from LA. He came to Sunnydale and found Paige, who he knew from his childhood. Shortly after his first few days there, he was caught listening in on Spike and Clair's conversation and for fun, the two of them turned him into a vampire. That makes Clair and Spike both his sires. Despite the sire/vamp relationship, AJ hates Spike and tries to stake him whenever the opportunity arises. Spike, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is a blonde haired vampire from England. He was a poet and was sired by Drusilla (A vamp sired by Angelus). Spike hates Angelus
