'Poser' Band

I was listening to some boys talk once.. They were the boys considered 'punk' or whatnot, and they were talking about music. Not just any kind.. the 'poser' brand.. er.. whatever. They were calling bands like Bowling For Soup, Good Charlotte, All American Rejects and people like that 'posers'. I myself have been branded one when really I was just being myself. Anyway.. this isn't about me.. But they said the bands were posers just because they had made it big. According to them, that was selling out. I see it as just making it big and doing what they love. They'd still be doing it even if they DIDN'T make it big. One of those guys was in a band. Would he consider himself a poser if he made it big? Probably not. Well, thats all for now.
