The banner that you see above is a link to a site called Modest Needs. If you have had some little emergency come up like a low paycheck because you have been out sick or an unexpected bill or whatever, go to this site and they might be able to help. Also if you are looking for a good charity to donate to this is a true non-profit organization. The founder of this site set aside $500 per month out of his own paycheck to help people with small one time unexpected expenses. Since then the site has grown and people from all over contribute money to help these people. They helped me one year when I didn't have money to get Christmas presents for my two little boys and even gave me more money than I requested. I am not very good talking about it, just take a minute to go to the site and see for yourself. Once you are there, click on the testimonials link to see all the people they have helped.
