In a time of peace and prosperity before the first Great Rift in the village of Myci two ordinary families of monks were joined in celebration over the marriage of Ojir Maweir and Jina Nyrthi, and in their joyous years that came they had a son, Kiram Maweir, who was their pride and joy. At the age of 6 Kiram displayed something that was unexpected and unwelcome among the people village, he had shown the ability to communicate with the dead. This startled everyone in the village, and Kiram’s parents were among the only ones who still loved him and tried to teach him the skills of Monks, but Kiram did not grasp the knowledge he was taught. So his parents decided to enroll him in the village’s only school. In the years that followed Kiram became more of an outcast by being mocked and ridiculed by his classmates and teachers. Kiram only found happiness in the cemetery that was outside of town where no one dared to go. It was there Kiram developed his necromancer skills and where he grew his hatred for all of those people in his village. All though his hatred grew he did not show it especially around the only ones he loved, his parents. It was months after he dropped out of the school did Kiram learn true hatred. It was at this time the first Great Rift started and the entire village was called to help the Light, but before they could leave the village the Darkness came. It started at a time when Kiram was seeking wisdom from the dead ancestors of the village; he heard the screams of women and children coming from the village. Kiram rushed towards the village only to see men, women, and children being attacked by an unknown horde. It was an onslaught of carnage as Kiram watched all the elder monks casting their most powerful spells only to be stricken down minutes later. After a brief moment of fear Kiram remembered that he must find his mother and father. As he darted around corpses of people he knew he finally saw his father, and as Kiram ran towards him he saw his mothers body at the feet of his father, she was still alive but barely. Kiram threw all reason and logic aside and raced towards his mother. Holding his mother in his arms as his father protected them he broke down and cried. Soon after he felt his mother’s body go limp and her soul depart. Clutching her tightly, Kiram said his promise to never forget her. And with a violent anger Kiram launched a vicious attack against the horde nearly wiping them all out. The village grew silent with only the sounds of fire and people crying out in pain. Kiram returned to his mother wiping her face clean, his father walked up behind him gently touching Kiram’s shoulder. The night after the battle the village put out the remaining fire and buried their dead. The nights that followed all Kiram could think about was the last moments with his mother and the promise he made to her. Kiram later learned that the horde’s leader survived and had regained an army and that they were destroying towns far away. Kiram’s anger grew and in the darkness of night he took off to seek revenge on his mother’s murderer. It took months before he reached a village that was destroyed, and it was here he learned powerful skills of necromancers. Kiram used his newfound knowledge to muster a small group of skeleton warriors to aide him on his quest. Kiram journeyed and caught up to the leader in a small city occupied by the Darkness and by Kiram’s necromancer appearance and his skeleton warriors by him he easily made his was to the campsite where his mother’s murderer was. Kiram made his way to the leaders tent and drew his dagger. Woken by the disturbance, the leader awoke to find Kiram’s dagger to his throat. Kiram reminded the leader of the events that led him up to having the dagger to his throat, and with that Kiram slit open his throat and watched him bleed to death. Kiram felt some of self-gratification, but not enough so he took the skull of his enemy and put it in his pack. Kiram still had a thirst for revenge and set his sights on a more powerful enemy, the new Demon Lord DarkSyde DeathShayde. Thus Kiram began his journey to seek revenge by taking the skulls of those who stood by DarkSyde. Kiram became known as the dark skull collector, but in feeling that he was not collecting skulls but infecting the Darkness like a poison that slowly destroys the body, Kiram decided to be call Night Venom. It was years before Night Venom could find DarkSyde and even longer to get close enough to kill him. But when Night Venom was stalking DarkSyde one night to try to kill him DarkSyde drew a poisoned dagger that pierced Night Venom’s right side. DarkSyde showed no mercy and dove the blade deeper and deeper in. Finally DarkSyde snapped the poison soaked blade in Night Venom’s side, and as DarkSyde threw the handle of the dagger on the floor and grabbed Night Venom with his blood soaked hand and tossed him around like a rag doll. After enduring the punishment given by DarkSyde, Night Venom was passed out and was then carried out of the town and dumped like garbage. Years passed before Night Venom recovered and awoke in a room with monks around him healing him. Night Venom felt the blade of the dagger still in him and so he, against the monks’ will, reached deep within himself to retrieve the blade only to pass out again. This time when he awoke he was still clutching the blade but no monk was around him. Night Venom arose and walked into a room where there were other wounded. As he walked around Night Venom came upon Arthas Menethil who explained the recent happenings and in a rage of hearing the news of the coming peace Night Venom walked out to return to his village. As Night Venom returned he found that his village was destroyed, thinking to when the first horde came he thought the peace was fake Night Venom found that peace was accomplished and that DarkSyde and Arthas were united and another leader, Tsaroth Lunatari formed a guild known as the Unholy Syndicate. Also, Tsaroth told Night Venom that his home was destroyed by a guild that was rising in power and number. Night Venom found that he took a liking to the syndicate because it formed the family he had lost, but Night Venom’s history with DarkSyde the Demon Lord would not be forgotten that easily.
