Once you’ve signed up, you will need to create a character. All you need to do is fill out the form below and email me a copy. If you have any questions as far as filling out this form, please check the example provided below the form first. If you still have problems pestering you in the wee hours of the morning, let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.

Name: (you can add the pronunciation if you’d like)
Gender:
Species: (list of species can be found below)
Age:
Height:
Fur/Scale Colour:
Hair/Mane Colour: (more applicable to fractae and equines. Nothing else has an excess of head hair, really...)
Eye Colour:
Zodiac Sign: (optional. I used to give out a character’s Celtic zodiac based on month and day of birth, but I do not have the book pertaining to it readily available at the moment. If you’re interested, let me know and I may still be able to give you one depending on how well my memory is working at the time)
Patron God/dess: (optional, although useful for mages, higher level magick-users, or the particularly religious. List of gods can be found here)
Magick Status: (Ranking can be found below)
Familiar: (Only fractae may have a familiar, and only one with a magick status of "witch"/”mage” or above. A familiar uses its master’s spells, although it may have one special spell of its own. This spell does not count as one of its master’s spells as the familiar’s master cannot cast it himself/herself)
Spells/Enchantments: (number of spells limited to character’s magick status. Look below for levels. Also, with the exception of any required spells, you are responsible for creating your own unique spells. Do not ask me to make them up for you, or else I may feel obligated to bite you. NOTE: if your character requires certain spells for an attribute, be sure to list these as part of your limited number of spells)
City/Village/Location of Birth: (City/Village list can be found below)
Other: (background info, likes/dislikes, quirks, affiliated temples, so on and so forth)

Species Available For RPG:
NOTE: if you plan on augmenting your character's anatomy (such as adding wings) or play a character that requires a certain attribute (such as gills), please check the list of add-ons and requirements and adjust accordingly.

(please also note that humans and human form are not allowed in the RPG. That means your character cannot appear human)

Felidon
Felidons are large felines with the wings and tail of a dragon. They are the most numerous creatures on Terra Nova. There are two different types of felidon: the large cat type and the messenger type. Mesengers are smaller felines such as caracals, servals, and ocelots, while the larger felidon consist of panthers, leopards, lions, tigers, and the like. Large felidon hybrids do exist, such as ligers and tigons, although they are extremely rare.

Fractae
Fractae are bipedal anthropomorphic animals ranging from felines to canines, weasles to equines, goats to bears, even dolphins and dragons in some rare instances. They are the second most numerous creatures on Terra Nova.

Unicorn
Unicorns were once as numerous as felidon on Terra Nova, until the Great Unicorn and Dragon War brought hundreds of the fiery equines to their deaths. Although unicorn are still rather common, they are now much more elusive. Many elder unicorn still hold a bitter grudge against the dragons. Being the emblems of purity, unicorns cannot take demonic form.

Dragon
Most of the dragons of Terra Nova are solitary creatures who prefer to live their days in the cliffs of Takiri Nah and in the aquatic ruins of Incana. However, a few clans of social dragons exist near the major cities and towns. Almost every dragon species imaginable can be found on Terra Nova, including wyverns, guivre, lindworms, wurms, and heraldic types.

Lunar Dolphin
Inhabiting the Incana River, these creatures resemble Terran (Earth) dolphins except that their bodies are covered with the shapes of crescent moons, stars, and various mystical symbols. They are just as intelligent as the Terra breed of dolphins, maybe smarter.

Candidon
Same as the felidon, except they are canine and much rarer. There are no messenger candidonm although many of the smaller species are often snubbed for their tiny stature.

Merfolk
If you choose to become one of the merfolk you will automatically be in fractae form. Merfolk are aquatic bound, meaning that they cannot leave the water.

Faeriefolk
Fractae fae are the most common, although there do exist faerie dragons, unicorns, and felidon. The fae can be either Seelie (the good guys), Unseelie (the not-so-good guys), or somewhere in between.

Demon or Lemure
Either flesh or spirit in form. If you choose a demonic character you cannot take unicorn form. Demons are evil and mischevious in nature, while lemures can either be malevolent or benevolent.Succubi and incubi are included in this group.

Vampire
You have the choice of being a sanguine (blood-feeding vampire) or a psi vampire (feeds on energy). You can either take felidon, candidon, or fractae form. Most demons and vampiric spirits have "Rin" attatched to their names, such as Sukketek Rin, to show their demonic ancestry from the first great fallen angel, Siah Rin.

Griffin
Divided into two groups, griffins and gryphons. Griffins are the larger of the two, and are either the normal eagle/hawk types or the carrion-eating vulture types. Gryphons are the smaller cat types, and are often trained by fractae for use as hunting gryphons, much like hunting falcons.

Kelpie
Your character will automatically be in equine form if you choose to be a kelpie, although you can still choose between standard horse, unicorn, or equine fractae forms. Kelpies are amphibious faeries. They can live on both land and water, and feed exclusively on young children.

Centaur
Centaurs are one o f the rarest species of Terra Nova, primarily inhabiting the Ghostwoods of Skraekor, although they do sometimes spawn elsewhere.

Magick Levels:

No Knowledge: no spells. You’re a black swan, someone who knows what magick is but cannot or will not use it.

Limited Knowledge: You only know two spells at most.

Apprentice: Training under a more powerful member of the RPG; you can upgrade after two months or so, depending on the amount of spells you have gained. 3-4 spells.

Bard: knows more magick than an apprentice, but not quite as much as a witch or a mage. Six spells at most.

Witch: Knows 10 spells at most. Witches require the use of physical components in their spellcraft; they cannot cast more than a simple cantrip or glamour without something more than sheer energy. Can own a familiar.

Mage: Knows 10 spells at most. Unlike witches, mages can cast their spells without the use of physical components like herbs, stones, or whatnot (although more advanced spells may require the use of such components). Can own a familiar.

*Elementress: Female only. An advanced mage with more control over her spellcraft. You are allowed to have up to12 spells.

*Master Sorcerer: Male only. An advanced mage with more control over his spellcraft. You are allowed to have up to12 spells.

**High Priestess (HP): Female only. Can only become an HP after at least six months in the RPG. HPs can have up to 15 spells.

**High Priest (HP): Male only. Can only become an HP after at least six months in the RPG. HPs can have up to 15 spells.

* You may not become an Elementress/Master Sorcerer as soon as you sign up. If you are a mage and have been in the RPG for at least two months, you may upgrade to Elementress/Master Sorcerer status with the moderator’s permission.

** You can only upgrade to HP level if you've attained the magick level of Elementress/Master Sorcerer and have been active in the RPG for at least six months.

City/Village/Location of Birth:

Cities/Villages In Akrin (map coming soon):
King of Akrin: Cyros (KAI-rhos) (tiger felidon)

Dralost
Dralost is the center of magick in Terra Nova. Population is primarily felidon. Dralost is also close to Motakrux, Motaki’s main temple.

Incana
Located at the bottom of the Incana River. The waters of Incana are inhabited by aquatic/amphibious creatures such as Lunar Dolphins, merfolk, and aquatic dragons. It was said that the city was once above the water, until the fury of the River Lord sent it to the river.

Takiri Nah
A deserted city located at the base of the Skraa Mountains. The only residents of Takiri Nah are dragons. This is the only place you can come from if you're a dragon (unless you're aquatic, and then you come from Incana).

Dakira
A village at the outskirts of the Valley of the Orchids and in the middle of an old growth forest. This small village gets most of its traffic from unwelcome demons. Dakira was once the home of the late Siah Rin, a fallen angel and the so-called whoremother of much of the demonic race. Population is primarily fractae. Most fractae villagers here are artisans, herbalists, and farmers, although the wealthiest villager here would be the Wishmonger (although scarcely seen at the village).

Skorgraak
Birthplace of Aiypui, third sister of the Spirit Wolf Triad. A red sand desert inhabited only by a few prides of caracal messengers. The red color of the sands was thought to be the blood of the innocents slayed by Aiypui upon her resurrection.

The Fire Caverns
Home of the Fire Lord, a leopard felidon from the same blood line as the River Lord. No mortal, other than Cyros, king of Dralost, has set foot (or paw) within the caverns and lived.

The Tundra Region
Home of the Ice Maidens, three snow leopard faeries, as well as the breeding waters of the narwhal population. A mecca for unicorns.

Valley of the Orchids
A large valley forest containing every species of orchid and flower found on Terra Nova. Former home of Cernunnos, lord of the forests. Some small bands of candidon can be found here, although they are rarely seen. Also the location of Makucrux, Makuyi's primary temple.

Menarsh
A small island just off the coast of the Valley of the Orchids. Home to a small clan of elfin feline fractae.

Cities/Villages In Skraekor (map coming soon) :
King of Skraekor: Vliriis the Corrupt (VLEE-rihs) (felidon)

Krimshaa
Coastal city completely taken over by vampires and lemures. Climate is cold and foggy.

Ghostwood
A large old growth forest on the outskirts of Krimshaa. Inhabited mostly by unicorns, kelpies, and other equine spirits. Not a safe place for fractae, as many go mad from prolonged exposure to malevolent dryads and faerie folk.

Feralis
The capital city of Skraekor. Like Dralost, Feralis is the meeting place of mages and the like, although darker magick is more prevelant here than in Dralost. Home of the infamous Night Market.

Naam
The northernmost village in Skraekor. Naam is primarily a shipping village, sending ships to do trading in Akrin.

Sothis
A tiny village next to the Ix River. A sanctuary for non-demonic fractae and others who do not wish to live in Krimshaa.

Apis
A large island off the coast of Northern Akrin. Apis is the location of the largest necropolis on Terra Nova, and has a smaller living population than Menarsh.
