Abethsins Abilities
Abethsins soul, having been tainted and imbued with the power of the ancient sleeping gods, the Malfeans, gives him more than a few benifits as well as his training as a solder and a necromancer.
Mundane skills:
- Highly skilled with most sword weapons, particularly his Diklave (A type of extreemly large one handed sword)
- Tactician
- Charismatic presence
- Has been granted a rather large sum of money from his Deathlord from when he was a loyal servant.
- Was given rare and expertly crafted gear including his sword and his armor by his Deathlord from when he was a loyal servant
- Paranoid. He usually expects trickery and suprise attacks, so it is difficult to catch him off gaurd.
Necromantic spells:
- Raise the Skelital Hord [raises a few undead in a turn. He can raise up to ten undead in this way, however it will drain him of all his energy for the day]
- Iron Countermagic [surrounds him with a chilled aura of unlife. It negates a death or dark spell directed at him, however while its in effect, the chill slows him down]
- Hungry creeping shadows [He inhales and spews from his mouth a large, inky black shade of a creature which moves to strangle and absorb the energy from his opponant. 2 preps to summon. Its killed with fire easiest]
- Knows the skills to bring a creatures soul back into the world under his control [takes 3 preps and he needs the creatures corpse. The soul can fight against him, making this a much more difficult procedure]
Abethsins abilities granted by the Malfeans:
- Blade summoning gesture [allowes him to return his blade to his hand if he has been disarmed. 1 prep]
- Void sheath technique [Allowes him to banish his blade into the void untill he reflexively ends the ability]
- Theving ration claws [allowes him to try to pull an opponents blade from there grasp, having it fly to himself from a distance. Each prep makes it harder to hold on to.]
- Furious blade [Makes his blade glow darkly, letting off tendrils of death energy. The blade then strikes with unnerving accuracy and speed for one turn per prep used]
- Five shadow feignt [allowes Abethsin to strike out with his blade in any and all directions with equal skill, making attacking him from behind no safer than the front. reflexive but draining]
- Unfurling iron lotus [allowes Abethsin to strike multiple times with lightning speed. Very difficult to dodge and requires no preps, however its very taxing for him to keep such a pace up for long.]
- Crypt bolt [Allowes him to concentrate the forces of death into a tangeable orb of energy which he then flings from his arm. If it strikes, it decays objects and flesh that comes into contact with it. Unaging creatures are still effected, as it decayes, not ages. More preps is greater effect, but its easy to dodge]
- Flittering shadow form [Abethsin is surrounded by multiple images of himself which all move about in a disorienting fashon. This makes Abethsin very difficult to hit, but it lasts for only one turn as well as stopping him from attacking. It is also draining]
- Uncanny impulse dodge [Allowes Abethsin a heightened knowledge of the area around himself, warning him of any and all incomming attacks before they happen, alowing him ample time to plan his next dodge. Draining, and he cant attack after its use]
- Whispers [Abethsin constantly hears the babble of the Malfeans, and if he concentrates on it, he gains some insight into the future. This is mainly used to predect suprise attacks on him, and in such it is very difficult to catch him off gaurd.]
