This week on Anarchy, Sean
Graves stepped his game up and lead our team to victory. I wasn't used
to not being able to do my share of the work in a match, but thank God
sean was there to pick up the slack. This week however, Sean Graves
will not be by my side, instead, I will be going one on one with Nick
Nitro. Nick Nitro is a man that while in WPW, I took under my wing. I
worked with the kid and did everything I could to bring the best out of
him. It sure shows that my work paid off. Nitro has made it to the XWF
since then. He by passed Massacre and went straight to Anarchy. Now
this may seem like a big achievement, and trust me, in a way it is. But
I honestly think Nitro should have spent some time on Massacre first.
Let's look at the facts for a moment. Nick Nitros team has failed to
win the Tag Team titles twice now. Once against Darkhan and
Weapon:Ashen, and the other time against Sean and myself. The really
sad part about his second failure was the fact that I'm injured. I
didn't put up any offense during the match, and basically Sean Graves
ended up defeating Nitro and Blizzard on his own. It's a really sad
time for a man when his team is defeated by a lone warrior, and that's
just what happened last week. Now lets take a look at his record. Four
wins and four losses. Not too impressive if you ask me. You see, Nick
Nitro has the tools to succeed. What he doesn't have is the experience.
Given some time on Massacre to grow, Nitro could have came to Anarchy
as a force to be reckoned with. Instead he's just another face in the
crowd.
Now, as it stands right now, Nitro thinks he has the advantage because
I am injured. What he doesn't know is that I was able to make it out of
my match last week without further injuring myself, and my ribs are
starting to heal nicely. What little pain there still is, well that's
easily taken care of by my pain medication. You see Nitro, even though
you think your in my league, and that your chances of winning are
favorable. The fact remains that I am now, and always will be better
than you, injured or not. Now, I know what your thinking. You thinking
that this is the same bullshit you hear from every other person whom
you prepare to battle. While that may hold true, you need to remember
one thing. When I talk shit, I'm preferred to back it up. This coming
week will not be the student beating the master. We will not see the
young work horse over coming experienced veteran. What we will see is
the return of Micheal Graves. Not the Micheal we saw last week, no he
was a victim. This week we are going to see the old Micheal Graves, the
real Micheal Graves, the "Dark Warrior" Micheal Graves.
The scene opens to Micheal Graves laying on the floor at Worlds Gym.
The walls in the room are mirrored, and the floor is covered with a
dark blue berber carpet. Graves is moving his body from side to side,
no doubt testing the limits of his ribs. He is still taped up of
course, but obviously moving around alot better now. Graves sits up,
and then slowly lets his body fall back to the floor. He does this a
few more times. After about thirty sit ups, Micheal notices Sean, who
had walked into the room while Micheal was working out. Micheal stops
what he is doing, and sits up, looking to his brother.
Micheal Graves
Hey bro, what's going on?
Sean Graves
Well, I thought I would come
here and get a good workout in, I'm trying to bulk back up.
Micheal smiles and nods to his
brother.
Micheal Graves
Personally, I'm just trying to
get back to one hundred percent. Last week, I ended up being a victim,
and needless to say, I didn't like it.
Sean Graves
Of course not... Who would?
Something about the way Sean
said that made Micheal feel as though Sean was still pissed over
Micheals comments last week.
Micheal Graves
Hey bro, if it wasn't for you
basically carrying my dead weight last week, we would have been goners.
Dude, honestly... thanks for stepping up your game.
Sean smirked a little. Maybe
that would cheer him up and get is mind off what I had said.
Sean Graves
You know, you were in pretty
bad shape. Did you even get an offensive move in last week?
Micheal Graves
Not really.
Sean Graves
So how are you feeling now?
Micheal Graves
My rib is healing up. It
doesn't really even hurt right now.
Sean Graves
Your not still taking those
pills are you?
Yes...
Micheal Graves
Nope, I'm just healing back up
man. I've gotta say, it feels good to not be injured.
Sean Graves
Well I wouldn't exactly say
your not still injured.
Micheal Graves
ok, well it feels good to be
getting better, how does that sound?
Sean Graves
Better. Listen, I know you
said your starting to heal up, but do you really think you can handle
Nick Nitro this week?
Micheal Graves
There's no doubt in my mind
man. Last week when I was in the ring, basically getting my ass handed
to me, it was the worst feeling I had ever felt. If nothing else, I'm
going to make sure that I am never in that position again.
Sean Graves
Sounds good man, but what
about your ribs? A few good shots, and he could easily re-injure you.
Micheal Graves
Listen man, that's simply not
going to play a factor, I'm not going to let it. Nick Nitro is a joke,
and there is no way in hell I am going to allow myself to lose to him.
I mean come on, look at his record, four and four. He's not that good.
Hell, he can't even speak without making himself look like a fool. So
why would I be worried about losing to him?
Sean Graves
Because like it or not, he had
you in a bit of a rough spot last week.
Micheal Graves
While that may be true, the
fact still remains that with each passing day I am feeling better and
better. By next week, I should be near one hundred percent, and Nick
Nitro could never handle me at one hundred percent.
Sean Graves
So, what do you think of
Blizzard? Think I have a chance?
Micheal Graves
Dude, of course you have a
chance. You pretty much beat Blizzard and Nitro on your own last week.
This week you just have to defeat Blizzard.
Sean Graves
Your right. You know, we
fumbled the ball the last time we wrestled in singles matches, I for
one am not going to let that happen again.
Micheal Graves
Damn right bro! Though I love
teaming with you, It would be great for us to get some singles gold
around our waist again.
Sean Graves
Yeah man, I wouldn't mind a
shot at the World Title.
Micheal Graves
Yeah, and how cool would it be
if you won the World title, and I won the Universal? We would be
carrying the Tag titles and the two biggest singles titles in the XWF
at the same time!
I noticed that sean wasn't
looking too happy. In fact, I knew the look on his face all too well,
and apparently I had said something to piss him off.
Micheal Graves
What's wrong man?
Sean Graves
Nothing, I'm fine.
Micheal Graves
No, I know that look. What did
I say?
Sean Graves
Oh come on, don't act so
innocent, you know full well what you said.
Micheal Graves
Huh?
Sean Graves
Why is it that if I were to
win the World title, you have to win the Universal?
Micheal Graves
Dude, I was just saying...
Sean Graves
No! I don't want to hear it
man. Just don't worry about it. It's just, well I feel... oh never
mind. I've got to go.
Micheal Graves
I thought you were going to
work out?
Sean Graves
Maybe later, suddenly, I'm not
in the mood.
Before I could even get another word
in edge wise, Sean turned and left. I got up and ran after him, but he
wouldn't answer me. He just got in his car and drove off. Man, this was
really starting to get to me. I mean, the smallest thing I say or do
wrong just sets him off. Sean thinks that I look down on him, like I
think he is lower them I. That's not the case, but good luck getting
that through his thick skull.
Oh well, I'll just let him cool down. After all, I don't have time to
chase after him right now. I have a match to prepare for. And for me,
my matches take top priority over everything else in my life. Hopefully
Sean will figure out on his own that I'm not his enemy...
