The immortal Steve Jason, a man that many, nay MOST people think is the greatest wrestler in the XWF today. A man who has held the Universal title on numerous occasions. A man that I, Micheal Graves pined right in the center of the ring just a few short hours ago. I could feel the buzz, I could see the shock in the fans eyes. It's not so much that people thought it was impossible for me and Sean to win against SJ and Confusion, but more along the lines of, NOBODY expected either of us to pin Steve Jason.

Going backstage after the match was surreal as well. Most of the locker room seemed to be in a state of shock. I don't think anybody saw it coming, Micheal Graves pins the biggest name in the XWF. To say the least, tonight was a great night for me. It was a great night for Sean as well though. Because tonight, in one simple match, we proved that we didn't come to Anarchy by mistake, we proved that we truly belong here. Me and Sean stuck around for the rest of the night, watching the other matches. We were really interested in the main event, because in time, those two men, Fred L, and Dynamic Dynamite, they will become our next targets.

You see, Sean and I are not content on just holding the Tag straps. Sure, we take pride in the titles, and we are working our asses off to make sure we go down as one of the best teams to lace up a pair of boots here in the XWF, but we crave more. We want singles success too. And how sweet would it be for the two of us to hold the Tag titles, the World title, and the Universal title, all at the same time? Are we greedy? Maybe, but do we think we can pull it off? Sure, if given the opportunity. After the show ended, Sean and I decided that we were going to go hang out tonight, get a few drinks and such. Shortly after we left the arena, we were informed of our next match on Anarchy. To our surprise, we were both in singles match, and even more surprising, we both were going to get shots at number one contenderships.

For Sean, the World title lie in wait as a possibility, and I knew that he would put up one hell of a fight for that chance. For myself, a lesser title, the Canadian. Did this upset me? Of course not, because in my eyes, gold is gold, and if management thought that my brother deserved a shot at the World title over me, that was great, I was happy for him. Honestly, I would be putting all of my energy to try and win the Canadian title, it was yet another title that I had yet to hold, and also a title that I wanted around my waist.

After a quick stop by our hotel, (Seans RP) we decided to go out and get some drinks. Destiny and Monica were going to come along, but to my surprise, Destiny was not at the hotel. Instead of finding her, I found a letter that was addressed to me. It was in Destinys hand writing. I opened the letter and began to read the shocking contents.

Dear Micheal

I thought that giving our relationship another shot would be a good idea. I knew that you still had feelings for me, and as much as I hated to admit it, I still had feelings for you as well. I thought we could work things out, but after seeing Sean again, and the close relationship you have with him now, I just don't think there is much of a future for us. As much as you want me too, I can never forgive Sean for what he's done. He took the life of my child, to you, that may be something that could be left in the past, but for me, it's something that still haunts my dreams. I lost a child to your brother, and you will never understand the pain that it caused me. Micheal, please don't try to find me, what we had together is something I will treasure, but like you said, it's in the past.

I dropped me hands to my side, the letter falling from my fingers and to the floor. I couldn't believe what I had just read, Destiny had left me, again. I was lost in a daze, when suddenly there was a knock at the door. I snapped out of it, and walked over, opening the door to see who it was. It was Sean and Monica, dressed up and ready to go out.

Sean Graves
Hey man, are you all right?

At this point I was anything but all right.

Micheal Graves
Um, not really bro, just got some bad news. How about we take a rain check on the drinks?

Sean Graves
Hey, sure if your not feeling up to it, we can go out later.

Micheal Graves
Yeah, maybe.

Sean Graves
Um... do you want to talk about it?

Micheal Graves
No, that's ok, it's just some personal stuff between Destiny and myself.

Sean Graves
Oh, I see. Well tell her I said Hi, and I will see the two of you later.

Micheal Graves
I'm afraid I can't do that?

Sean Graves
Huh?

Micheal Graves
Sean, Destinys gone. She left me.

Sean Graves
Oh, Mike, I'm so sorry. The two of you seemed so happy together.

Micheal Graves
Maybe at one time we were, but I had a choice to make, my family, or her.

Sean Graves
She made you choose between me and her?

Micheal Graves
Yeah, she's not too fond of you Sean, and she really didn't care for the idea of us teaming. I honestly think that when she brought me over to your hotel the night of XX, she was expecting us to duke it out like old times.

Sean Graves
So she wasn't trying to get us back together?

Micheal Graves
No, I think she was trying to get us back at each others throats.

Sean Graves
That bitch!

Micheal Graves
Well, she does take pride in being one.

Sean Graves
Come on man, are you sure you don't want to come out with us? It can't be good for you to be alone right now.

Micheal Graves
No, it's fine Sean. I'm going to be ok.

Sean Graves
All right man, if you need anything, you've got my cell phone number.

Micheal Graves
Hey, you guys have fun tonight ,ok?

Sean just looked at me and kind of smiled.

Sean Graves
Don't worry, we will.

As Sean and Monica turned to walk away, I closed the door. I walked back over to the bed, and picked Destinys letter off of the floor. I sat down on the edge of the bed, and read through it one more time. I still couldn't believe that she left me like this, it really wasn't her style. At least, I didn't think it was. Finally I crumbled up the letter. I wasn't going to let this get me down. I had a chance at a Canadian Title shot this Thursday, and by God I was going to go out there and win it. So far I had won every match I had been in since I had returned to the XWF, sometimes I didn't put full effort into my matches sure, but I always put more then enough to walk out the victor. This week would be no exception. The Canadian title shot was as good as mine already. And my opponents would soon come to find out why I am considered "The Modern Day Warrior".
