It wasn't long now. Tomorrow, I would find out exactly who Keith and I would be facing at XX for our Tag title shot. At anarchy, either Blizzard and Nick Nitro  or Darkhan and Weapon:Ashen would walk out with the belts. Three days later, me and Keith would get our shot. This match meant allot to both of us. Both Keith and myself had worked very hard over the last month to get to this point, and even though I may feel a little hesitant about facing Weapon:Ashen for the third time in my career, I just couldn't let that get in the way of everything we had worked so hard for. So far, I have faced Ashen twice. both times were in Great Northern Wrestling. The first time, I faced him as Chalupa, and I received a beating like no other. In my defense, I was still in the process of shaking some ring rust off at the time, but Weapon:Ashen still proved to be a tough opponent during our second meeting in the ring. It was just a week later, at GNWs next show that I took off the Chalupa mask, and went head to head with Weapon:Ashen as myself, Micheal Graves. It was a hard fought battle between the two of us, but in the end, Weapon:Ashen came out the better man. Never in my career had I seen someone who had the ability first time out as this Ashen did. I didn't know too much about him at the time, and I still really don't know all that much now. But I did know that when he stepped into the ring, he was a vicious machine. He could take my blows and almost absorb them, then come back at me, and hit me with something twice as hard. If I had to compare him to anything, I would compare our battles as Rocky versus Drago from Rocky 4. He was Drago, and I was Rocky, but unlike Rocky in the movies, I didn't have the heart to win. I wasn't able to push myself that extra mile, and over come Ashens incredible skills in the ring.

But now things are different. I have a reason, a purpose for winning. Not only will I let myself down if I lose, but I will also let down my partner, and the last thing I want to do is let Keith down. I am going into this match with one simple goal in mind. No matter who we end up facing, Me and Keith ARE going to win, no matter what it takes. I have thought long and hard about this match, and I have decided that I am willing to push myself as far as my body is willing to go in order to win this match. I feel as though... I owe it to Keith. Keith trusted me, and accepted me as a partner and a friend, when nobody else would have. I have never really been one to make many friends, as evidenced by the fact that I only have two friends in this business. Keith, and Arrow. Keith had done everything I ever could have asked of him. He has been a great partner, and an even better friend. He has helped me see the error of my ways, and I am a changed man for it. I owe Keith allot, and in order to start paying my bills, I AM going to help him win this match, no retreat, no surrender.

Now, many people don't look upon me and see a smart person, and I will agree, I have made some dumb moves in my career. I've always tried to be the long warrior, and take on all comers on my own, no matter what the odds. Sometimes I came out ahead, like when I faced Kore and Gecko in a handicap match, but other times I have fallen flat on my ass. This time, I was going to play it smart. I knew that if Ashen and Darkhan won this Thursday, that the Black Order would probably try to play a role in our match at XX. Keith and I wouldn't be able to stop them alone, the numbers game is so ridiculous with that group, that we would stand a chance in hell if they all decided to run interference. So I couldn't help but think of the offer Arrow had thrown on the table last week. He wanted back in the business, but wasn't sure about making an in ring return due to injuries. So he offer to manage Keith and I. The more I thought about it, the more I came to realize that having an extra person, to help watch our backs might not be a bad idea. So I picked up the phone, and I dialed Arrows number.

ARROW
Hello?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Hey man, it's me.

ARROW
Ah, Micheal, what's going on?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Listen, do you remember what you said, about managing me.

ARROW
Yeah, of course.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Well, were you serious about being able to provide protection against run ins?

ARROW
Of course, I'm not in the best physical state of my life, but I can still hold my own in a fight.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Ok then, your in.

ARROW
Really? Just like that?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Yes. Keith and I are going to need back up this week at X-Mas X-Treme. If Weapon:Ashen and Darkhan win the Tag Team Titles, then there is a really good chance that the Black Order might try anything they can to keep the titles on them. So having you around wouldn't be a bad idea.

ARROW
Great! It's going to be fun getting back into the business.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Yeah, I know this means allot to you, just like winning the titles at XX means allot to me. Hopefully, together we can pull this off.

ARROW
Listen man, you can count on me.

MICHEAL GRAVES
I know I can. Otherwise, we wouldn't be talking right now.

ARROW
All right, so, where do you want me to meet up with you?

MICHEAL GRAVES
How soon can you make it to New York?

ARROW
Well, when's this Pay Per View?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Sunday, December 26th.

ARROW
I can leave Christmas night, and be there within a four or five hours. I live in Pittsburgh, remember?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Ok, so about what time will you be in?

ARROW
Oh, I dunno' about one in the morning or so. I plan on leaving around seven or eight.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Ok man, I'll see you then, and we will talk more when you get in.

ARROW
All right, have a good Christmas man, and I'll see you then.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Yeah, same to you.

As I hung up the phone, I heard a knocking at the door. WOW, this was a busy day. I looked at my watch, I had a promo set up today around five, which gave me about two hours. I was expecting Destiny. I had asked her to come to town today, she wanted to talk, and so did I. I was having trouble believing that we were really over. Not too long ago, we were both madly in love, and mistakes that I had made seemed to have ended all of that. But now, with my life getting back on track, I was hoping that we could maybe mend our relationship. I went to the door, and opened it up, sure enough it was Destiny. I stood there for a moment, just staring into her eyes. It brought back so many feelings, I was almost lost.

DESTINY
Well, are you going to invite me in or what?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Oh yeah... sorry. Come on in.

Destiny walked into my home, and took a seat on the couch. I closed the door behind her, and sat down on the couch beside of her.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Ok, you wanted to talk... so talk.

DESTINY
(sigh) Listen Micheal, I've been thinking about us...

MICHEAL GRAVES
According to you, there is no us.

DESTINY
I was angry. Watching you leave me for that Vampira bitch... well that would tend to make any woman upset Micheal.

MICHEAL GRAVES
I told you I was sorry about that, I was willing to move on, but no, you wanted to hold it against me. And for your information, nothing happened between Vampira and me.

DESTINY
Well it sure looked like something happened to me. You were all over her!

MICHEAL GRAVES
I was talking to her! We're friends Dest, what do you think friends do? They talk! What do you want, for me not to have any friends? Is that what you want? To be able to control my life, to use me as your personal lap dog!?!

DESTINY
No Micheal, it isn't! I just want you to...

MICHEAL GRAVES
To be a slave, like Sean was right? You want me to fight your battles, and do everything you want! Destiny, your not wanting a boyfriend, your wanting a slave!

DESTINY
I never made you do anything you didn't want to do!

MICHEAL GRAVES
Is that right? The way I remember it, you came to me after I learned about Sean being in the XWF, and you manipulated me into fighting with him!

DESTINY
That's not how it happened at all! You wanted to fight Sean, you told me so!

MICHEAL GRAVES
No Destiny... I didn't want to fight Sean. I just wanted to be with you...

She just sat there. There was no sharp comeback, or smart ass reply, Destiny just sat there, almost in a state of shock.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Dest, when you came to me, I was confused. I didn't know how to react to Sean, I couldn't coupe with the fact that my long lost brother was in the XWF, and that the only person that knew anything about it was me. Part of me wanted to talk with him, and finally make things right, but another part of me wanted to get him in that right, and beat him within an inch of his life. Your the one who wanted Sean dead from the start, and your the one who convinced me that I did too.

DESTINY
Ok... Maybe your right. Maybe I did use you Micheal, and I'm sorry. But what does that have to do with Vampira?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Everything, and nothing. Yes, I did kiss Vampira, the rumors you heard were in fact true. But what you fail to realize is that this happened shortly after Sean died. I wasn't thinking clearly, and I promise, nothing else happened. Like I said, me and Vampira were just friends.

DESTINY
How can I believe that?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Easy, either you can, and you can give us another shot, or you can't, and you can walk out that door forever. Personally, I am ready to move on with my life, no matter what you decide.

Suddenly there was an uncomfortable silence. I watched Destiny, as she sat there, thinking over her choices. I couldn't read her face, and I had no clue what she was going to decide. I decided that maybe I should leave the room for a moment, and allow her to make up her mind.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Can I get you anything to drink?

DESTINY
Huh? Oh.. yeah, I'll take some ice water.

I nodded and went into the kitchen, I made her a glass of ice water, and poured myself some straight Jack Daniel's. I felt like I was slowly becoming an alcoholic. I had been drinking allot lately, it was based mainly on everything that has been on my mind. The stress I am having from teaming with Keith, the death of my brother, everything Destiny. Not too many people realize it, but I really am a mess right now. I walked back into the living room, nd sat the glass of water in front of Destiny. I took a sip from my glass as I sat back down beside of Destiny. As I sat down see looked over at me with a blank expression, I didn't know what to expect, but I expected the worst anyway.

DESTINY
Ok Micheal... I'm willing to give us another chance.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Last week if you asked me, I would have said that me and Destiny were through without a shadow of a doubt.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Really?

DESTINY
Yeah, really.

A smile came across my face, and as I smiled, so did Destiny. I leaned over and reached out to kiss her. and our lips locked for the first time in months.

MICHEAL GRAVES
So now what?

DESTINY
Well, I don't really want to go back to the XWF, like I need the money right? (Laughs) and now that the Womens title is suspended, there's really no point in me returning, but I wouldn't mind traveling with you if you don't mind?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Mind? It would be great!

DESTINY
All right, so, when do we hit the road?

MICHEAL GRAVES
I'm leaving early this Saturday, I have a tg match at the Pay Per View.

DESTINY
Really? Your tag teaming?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Yep.

DESTINY
With who?

MICHEAL GRAVES
Oh, a guy named Keith Sharpe, I don't think you know him.

DESTINY
No, I think I met him the other day at a coffee shop.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Really!? I wasn't aware he was in town.

DESTINY
Well apparently he is.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Huh, I will have to try and get in touch with him.

DESTINY
All right sweety, I'm going to go back home and start packing my bags, your welcome to come along if you like.

MICHEAL GRAVES
As much as I would like to, I have to leave soon to go film a promo for the match at XX.

DESTINY
Ok, well I'll stop by tonight, maybe we can get something to eat.

MICHEAL GRAVES
Sounds like a date.

DESTINY
It is...

Destiny leaned over, and we shared in a kiss again before she left. Things just kept getting better and better...
