WE DID IT!!!

As sat alone in the locker room, that was the only thought to go through my mind. I had known from the first time I met Keith that we would make a great team, and we had proven that tonight. Not only did we win the Tag elimination match, but BOTH of us survived to the end! The Krazzy Alliance fell short, Armageddon and Hellfire barley even put up a fight, and when it was all said and done, Keith and myself were the ones who walked out victorious. It was a great feeling. My first match back in the XWF as myself was a total success, and now me and Keith were one step closer to gaining the Tag Titles on Anarchy.

I leaned down and slipped on my boots. Quickly I packed away my wrestling gear into a small black gym bag, and I headed out the door. On my way out I was met by many. Everyone congratulated me on my victory tonight. Production workers, Ring crew, everyone. I wasn't quite sure how to react to this, I mean, all my life, or at least for all of my career, everyone has feared and hated me. When I came out with a big victory in the past, nobody said "good job", nobody wanted to talk to me, not then, but now, something has changed. For whatever reason, the people, the fans, they are rooting for ME. I wasn't used to it, but I have to admit that it felt good.

As I made my way towards the parking lot, I heard a familiar voice call out my name. I turned around to see Jonathyn Brown, a man whom I have had a difficult past with. I wondered where this might be going, I just knew Jon was going to rain on my parade.

Jonathyn Brown
Micheal, good job tonight.

To say that Jon words caught me off guard would be an understatement. I was in total shock, once it wore off, I couldn't help but wonder why Jon would be congratulating me, and I wasn't afraid to ask.

Micheal Graves
I'm sorry, but did I just hear you correctly? Did you just congratulate me?

Jon stood there for a moment, with a smirk on his face before answering.

Jonathyn Brown
Micheal, I know we've had our problems in the past, but I am willing to put that all behind us. You have a chance of having a bright future ahead of you, and you proved that tonight.

I thought about what Jon had just said for a second. I did have allot going my way already. I was one week into my return, not counting my run as Chalupa of course. And already, I had a chance to fight for the Tag titles, and make the jump to Massacre, something people on Massacre have been fighting for a long, long time. Upon thinking about it, I decided it would be best to eliminate an enemy, since I was sure to make so many more on Anarchy once I won the Tag titles with Keith.

Micheal Graves
Ok Jon, I'm willing to start fresh with you.

Jonathyn Brown
Great, I'm glad you feel that way. Good luck next week.

Micheal Graves
Thanks man, and take care of yourself.

Me and Jon then parted ways. He went back to work, and I went out to my car. I got into the car, and cranked up the cd player. I was listening to one of my favorite albums, MEGADEATH - Rust in Peace. I shifted into gear, and spun tires, shooting out of the parking lot like a rocket on wheels. I shot down the seemingly abandoned streets, it was about 1:00 am. I continued thinking about tonight's match, and how well me and Keith seemed to work together, it was a natural fit. Then my mind wondered into the booking sheet for next week. I had looked at it after my shower. Keith and me were teaming again on Massacre. This time we would be facing Steve Sanders, and Sacrifice. I decided to call Keith, I had other reason of calling him, but I figured why not continue to earn his trust, and lay the foundation of a friendship. We had another big match to prove ourselves next week, and I just felt I should give him a call.

I pulled out my cell phone and dialed in Keith's number. I pressed send, and held the phone to my ear. I slowed the car down, now in the area I wanted to be in. I switched off the headlights, and drove another few blocks down the road. Finally, I parked my car, and switched off the engine. I glanced over at the house across the street it was white, and had green shutters. It looked a little homely I thought, but that wasn't my concern. I sighed as the phone continued to ring, sometimes Keith was a little slow at answering his phone. I had business at this house, something I really needed to take care of, but I needed to talk to Keith first. Finally, he answered.

Keith Sharpe
Yeah?

Micheal Graves
Hey Keith, it's Micheal, great job tonight!

Keith Sharpe
Back at you man. We really pulled it together out there tonight and those boys didn't know what hit them until they were walking back to the locker room.

Micheal Graves
I got a look at the booking sheet before I left the arena tonight. Next week we are teaming up against Steve Sanders and Sacrifice.

Keith Sharpe
Steve Sanders and Sacrifice huh? Don't know much about them. Are they trying to put themselves in the Tag Title hunt?

Micheal Graves
I don't think so. I think this match is basically just a warm up for us.

Keith Sharpe
Well if they saw Massacre, they should know that they can only do so much.

Micheal Graves
Damn straight. We went out there last night and took care of business. Anyone who might have doubted us won't make the mistake of doing it again.

Keith Sharpe
So you're planning a trip to Anarchy this Thursday?

Micheal Graves
I'm still thinking about it, but it would be nice to make an unexpected stop on the "other" show, you know, to let 'em get a glimpse of what's coming their way.

{Keith}
Well Darkhan better hope he finds a replacement partner by Thursday or things will get very interesting with all of us in the ring at the same time. But yeah, I'm looking forward to Anarchy myself. Maybe now I can get some answers from both Cage and Connolly.

Micheal Graves
I figured you might want to look into that. Just don't get in over your head, if one of them is the one who sent that letter to you, then they are playing mind games, and if they are doing that, I fear they would have a much deeper motive. Anyway, I'm going to get off here, I've got some business to take care of.

{Keith}
All right man. I'll catch up with you later.

I pressed the end call button on my phone, and then threw it on the passengers seat. I opened the car door and stepped out, keeping my eyes on the house across the street the entire time. I noticed a light come on, and I walked in that direction.
