The sunlight glared through the
window, hitting Micheal in the eyes. Micheal squinted and held his hand
over his eyes. "Home? Last thing I remember was being at the bar."
Micheal thought as he slowly pulled himself up off the couch.
Micheal Graves "Oh my head!" Micheal reached up and cradled his head as if it was about to fall off. Micheal Graves "I feel like a truck ran me over... musta' been one hell of a party I went to." Micheal reached over to the coffee table and picked up the TV remote. Micheal turned on the TV which was already set for the news. Something on the screen caught his attention as Micheal expression changed to shocked. Micheal Graves "Thursday, what happened to Wednesday?" Sure enough Micheal did not remember the events from the day before. He couldn't recall the truths that he found out, or the mystery that awaited him. The lives he took were not even a distant memory, to Micheal, none of it happened. Micheal stood up and walked into his kitchen to get a drink of water. As he filled the glass he couldn't help but wonder why he couldn't remember the day before. Did he get that drunk the other night? No way... but if not that, then what? As much as Micheal wanted to dwell on the subject, he didn't have the time. Anarchy was later this afternoon, and Micheal had to get ready and get on the road. As Micheal got into the shower his focus switched from him and went to tonights event. Tonight Micheal not only had to step into the ring with some of the best talent from both Massacre and Anarchy, but he would also have to get into the ring with Sean Graves, the man who just defeated him this past Sunday to win the CWF World Title. Only this time Sean would not be Micheals enemy, but instead his partner. Micheal wondered if he could trust Sean to have his back in this match, as he was sure Sean wondered the same of him. Then there was Cyren, another partner, and another man that Micheal wasn't exactly happy with. Cyren was the one who caused Micheal to lose the title at Repent. Cyren stuck his nose in a place he had no business doing so, and for that Micheal wanted nothing more than to tear Cyren apart bit by bit. The funny thing was, for some reason Micheal felt an uncontrollable urge to help both Cyren and Sean win at Anarchy tonight. This urge conflicted with the comments he had made Tuesday, but Micheal had no choice but to listen. Cyren was not his enemy, and neither was Sean. What happened at Repent was of no matter, because only the future mattered, and the future was Micheal doing anything he could to insure that team CWF walked out of Anarchy with the victory tonight. Later that day. Micheal Graves is now in route to Anarchy. His company for this drive is Terry Blackstone. Micheal and Terry have been friends for most of Micheals career. They first met in GWF, where Terry was assigned to manage the rookie Graves. Although their professional relationship ended a long time ago, their friend ship has grow stronger over the years. Terry makes a note to try and attend all of Micheals big matches, and this is a big match for sure. Terry Blackstone "Well Micheal, tonights the big night. Think you'll be able to co exist with Sean and Cyren tonight?" Micheal Graves "There shouldn't be a problem between us. My only goal is to make sure that our team wins tonight, by any means." Terry seemed shocked by that statement. Normally Micheal would go on a rampage just from the mention of Seans name, and from what Terry could tell a few nights ago on XWF TV, Cyren wasn't too high on Mikes list either. Terry Blackstone "Well, I'm glad your going in to this match to win, and not get revenge on Cyren or Sean, but still.... keep your eye on those two." Micheal Graves "Yes, I understand there is a chance of either of them turning on me tonight. But if such an event were to happen, I am confident that I will be able to defuse the situation with little fuss." Terry knew something was wrong with Micheal. He hasn't been acting himself for a while now. And today he seems worse than ever. There's just something about the cold expression on Micheals face that gets to Terry. Sure, Micheal is a white faced mysterious character who you don't think you ever want to meet face to face judging by what you see on TV, but Micheal is so much different with his friends. Micheal is a kind soul who would do anything for anyone... Generally he is a happy guy when outside of the ring. Terry can't help but wonder what must be going through Micheals head right now, but at the same time he doesn't have the guts to ask. Really the only thing left to do was to wait, and see what would happen at Anarchy when the best of three brands all stepped into the ring of battle. Wait and see, how Micheal would react to his brother and Cyren when they came face to face in just a few short hours. ![]() |
