Giuliana is no stranger to the world of Promoting and Event Coordination. She grew up in New Jersey, but after college graduation she decided to head South,and spent the next 18 years in South and Central Florida before family concerns necessitated a move to Atlanta in 1996.
Atlanta turned out to be a proving ground for Giuliana. Her teenage daughter introduced her to the Goth Scene, where Giuliana quickly earned the honorary title of "Gothmom".
This lead to her involvement in two GothCon Conventions, where she served as Event Coordinator, for the years 2000 in Atlanta, and 2001 in New Orleans, the city Giuliana has adopted as her hometown.
Since relocating to New Orleans, besides serving as Event Coordinator for GOTHCON2001, she directed Ticket Sales and Registration for the DARK COTILLION 2000 Halloween Ball. From 2000-2001 she was involved in operations and promotions for the Gothic Club Night "MAUSOLEUM".
After spending those years devoted exclusively to the Gothic Scene, Giuliana grew more and more disenchanted with the discension and division she saw in the Goth Community.
In 2003 she teamed up with friends Sparky St Timexx, and Midian, to create NERVE DEAF PRODUCTIONS as a response to what all three saw as a deteriorating Alternative Music Club Scene. Their goal is to provide quality entertainment in an environment that is welcoming to ALL.
Giuliana, Sparky St Timexx, and Midian are the creative forces behind all NERVE DEAF Events. Giuliana is the Company's Webmaster, and acts as Talent Coordinator as well.
*****UPDATE******With the aftermath of Katrina, Giuliana was forced to leave her beloved New Orleans. Fortunately she has found a new home in the vibrant ciyt of Cincinnati, Ohio. They have a very active Art and Music Scene which she is pleased to be a part of.
Daughter Lindsay of Avid fame has now started her own venture there. With partner Joel Proper, she has started her own alternative record company, The Mylene Sheath. See www.mylenesheath.com
