ally is helping Jun-Dai to rise in the Akashic Brotherhood to greater power, in hopes of
securing aid from the Akashic Brotherhood down the road. However, despite the power the
ally has, his usefulness is offset by 2 major factors. First, there are limits to how far
the Nephandus will stick his neck out to help Jun-Dai; they aren't bound tightly enough for
any martyrdom sacrifice type things. Second, it's a purely business arrangement. Whatever
Jun-Dai asks comes at a high price; the more work the Nephandi do to help him, the more he
has to pay to get what he wants from them... And somehow, the cost is always steep.
