Web page editors

The first web page editor I looked up was Netscape Composer. Netscape has a lot of options that would prove to be very helpful to its users. You could almost customize everything in Netscape Messenger. Some of the customizations was you could limit the number of newsgroup messages downloaded. You could also save network connection time and cost by reading mail and newsgroup messages offline. Another feature is creating HTML Messages. There is a set up so you could use graphics, links, and formatted text. HTML allows the use of web page features within your email messages. Netscape has browser plug ins that extend the capabilities of the Netscape browser. Netscape is a program with a lot of benefits, but because of the complexity of the program most people might have to start out on a more basic program.

With most people they are always concerned with there security and privacy with online programs. Netscape has several security services. One is the Netscape Certificate Server which allows businesses to communicate with greater safety over the Internet. Also there is a single sign on for users. When a user has opened a browser and entered a password for a certificate, the user and server can automatically check each others certificates. Users do not need to remember multiple user names/password combinations.

The Certificate Management System can be deployed for e-commerce and extranet web applications to millions of its users. The system supports all standard Internet browsers. The CMS provides out of the box support for industry-leading web servers.

The next one I researched was MS Front page 2003. One of the advantages I noticed right away was there way of generating a code faster and easier. The tools could generate efficient and clean Hypertext markup Language, which gives you more control over the code. You can also apply your coding knowledge to the professional coding tools. Since the coding tools seem very easy to use you can use them to start learning HTML.

With Front page you can extend the power and reach of your website. Users can post to the web using just their browsers, while choosing from a broad range of publishing options. You could insert data views and configure data sources. With publishing technologies, a user can move files easily between local and remote locations and publish in both directions. Front page offers a lot of easy tools that are convenient and easy to use while operating the program.
