NEPHILIM:: Hebrew; The supernatural and mighty, giant race that rose from the coupling of the biblical fallen angels and that of human women during the time before and of Noah. It was because of the corruption brought to the earth by the Nephilims's reign that the biblical Great Flood was sent to cleanse the land and destroy the race of man, however there were still post-flood accounts of various branches of the Nephilim and their offspring. The most famous account of a post-flood Nephilim offspring was that of Goliath.

I first discovered the myth of the Nephilim after watching The Prophecy II. I found the idea of a angel/human hybrid intriguing and set out to learn more. I read through the bible in search of their metion but found little. After a bit of research I learned that this was because the name, Nephilim, had been translated into Giant, and the names of related branches, such as Rapheim, were turned into deceased. I continue to study up on the Nephilim, though not as quickly as I would like. I have listed some related books,links, and other material that I have found to be of interest.
