This is my first attempt at a Photoshop piece. The style was inspired by Deaddreamer's Heilige Hure piece and the cover art for the video game Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh. The image is the kind of visuals I got as I read the book From the Ashes of Angels. It involves an advanced race of beings, known in the bible as the Nephilim, of which historical evidence has been uncovered to suggest that they might actually have been in existance before the civilization of the human race.

I had a dream in which I looked in the mirror and, though I don't remember what the actual reflection looked like, I remember thinking the words: "If the eyes are windows to the soul, why are mine so empty?" So hear ya go, I guess that it is better than the sticker I saw in a military latrine in one dream that read "Jesus is high on life, makes you wish you were high with him" and pictured Jesus zooming along an ocean scene.

This was actually just created on the spot, with no planning or thought. I had a project due and a day to do it so, voila. I can say that the autopsy cuts were taken from a Marilyn Manson video I had seen the morning before starting this.
