There is a secret kept from the mortal world: Vampires. We call ourselves the Society. We have wound our web of secrecy into every fabric of your world. Your politicians, your business leaders, all are a part of our control. We live and we hunt upon your world, licking our teeth clean of the pain we cause.
We exist without your knowledge. We extract what we need from you and let you keep the rotting corpse. Our survival is of the highest regard.
My name is unimportant. No one has used my real name in centuries. But, for posterity sake, I will tell you that those who know me call me the Rose. I ensure that the laws of the Society are kept by our members. I ensure that our secret will not be leaked by the breaking of our laws. We have deemed it necessary in our survival to take care of our own.
My punishment is swift while at the same time fierce. A vampire crosses the line and they will see an end to everything they know. In my city, I am above the society leaders. I answer to no one but myself. I am blind to ambition. I am unbiased in my actions. I have made many enemies as I have weaved my way through the night. Of course it was all in just cause.
