Fairbanks, day two, from nearby forest fires

Most over-equipped lodging

DV apartment at Fort Richardson, complete with two bathrooms, two TVs, full formal dining room, kitchen, living room, and king size bedroom/dressing room.

Most disappointing day

Not getting a flight out to Barrow.

Most unusual motorhome

Red Rotel seen previously in Yukon. Houses about 30 people. Seating in front, berthing in back. Food service out of "pot bellies" in chuck wagon style. Folks seemed of German nationality.

Most likely stalker

Truck/trailer combo from Arizona. Sighted several times on Kenai Peninsula, including Homer and Seward, and again at Elmendorf (2x) going in and out of base gate.

Best Mexican [meal]

Cabana on E. 4th Street in Anchorage.

Best flower display
