Very restful camp. Made a nice fire last night -- stayed up until a little past 2300. Got up about 0930 this morning -- we both needed the extra sleep.

The campsite is named "Trail River". Skies are nearly completely clear -- temp in mid 60's.

Approaching the entrance to the tunnel that takes you under the Alaska Railroad tracks in Whittier. This tunnel had just recently opened. The tunnel was built to keep tourists and locals off the working tracks. Taken at 311511R July 2002.
