Established in 1992,
Weekend Bassers is a local fishing club that has been enjoying fishing local lakes, reservoirs
and rivers around the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. Tournaments are held over selected weekends
between the months of March and October with a Classic Tournament to convene the season.
Teams consist of one or two members that
can weigh-in up to 5 legal bass per tournament. Entry fees are charged for each tournament as well as an
initiation fee at the beginning of the season. We are a club that has initiated 100%
payback over the entire season. Cash prizes are awarded to the top 3 teams and the team that catches
the lunker of the tournament as well as trophies given to the winning team for each tournament
and to the person who catches the lunker of each tournament. Awards are also given to the team who
caught the lunker of the year and the overall team of the year. All boats are welcome, however we are an electric motor only club, no gas motors are permitted.
