Welcome to our site! We hope you enjoy your visit.  We are a member of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital, Service Unit 70-2. We meet in Leesburg, Virginia, the first and third Thursday of each month. Girl Scouting is centered around the Girl Scout Promise and Law. If you would like to know more about Girl Scouting in Leesburg, contact our Field Director.

Our troop crest is the Falling Star, which is the symbol of good luck - makes wishes come true!

Parent Notes:

  • Troop Meeting - Thursday, March 20, 6:15-7:45pm. Troop Picture.

  • For every Troop meeting, each Scout needs to bring her Girl Scout Handbook, Badge Book, and a pencil and notebook. Please label everything and keep them in a bag specifically for Girl Scouts.

  • Check the Troop Events calendar for meeting information. Complete a registration form to gain access.

  • Girls can work on Junior badges on their own. We recommend that the girls initially work on badges that would be difficult to do as a troop, such as Pet Care, Ms. Fix It, and so on.  Remember that in order to complete a junior badge, the scout must complete six of the activities. There are some badges we have to work together on in order to earn special badges called "signs". This will be explained at the parents' meeting on September 5th.

  • Some Girl Scout training courses are now online. Click here to access the GSCNC online training site. This is an easy way for us busy moms to get our preliminary training out of the way without leaving the house!

  • Click here to see what the uniforms look like.
