Chapter 36~

The next morning found Nick knocking on Kevin's door. "What Nick? This better

be good if your waking me up" roared Kevin very grumpy. "First of all, we're

all meeting for breakfast in half an hour sleepy head. And second, I had a

great idea I wanted to run by you." "OH GOD! Alert the media. Nick has an

idea" Kevin teased him. Nick gave him a look of hurt while holding his chest.

"You're so mean, Train" he laughed. "Do you think we should call the guy from

Eileen's caller id and invite him to the party as a surprise?" Nick asked.

"Ummmm I don't think that would be a good idea Nick" Kevin replied. "It might

make her really happy or it could get us killed for snooping. You know how

secretive she has been about him. She would probably kill us" "Ok, it was

just a thought. Now go get ready and meet us downstairs in a half. Don't

forget that we are all pretending to have forgotten her birthday, so not a

word grumpy" Nick laughed messing up Kev's hair.

They all meet down in the hotel restaurant around 10 am. They all greeted

each other in the usual manner. That's strange, she thought. Not one of them

remembered it was my birthday. That sucks. It also made her sad. She always

took great pains to do special things for their birthdays. She even reminded

them of all the family birthdays. Nick looked over to see her deep in

thought. "Are you ok Ei?" he asked. "Huh? oh yeah I'm fine" she said sadly.

They all noticed she was not her happy self today. They felt bad about making

her think they forgot, but she would understand later. "Eileen and I are

going shopping today. What are you all doing?" AJ asked. They each discussed

their plans for the day. "J, I think I'm just gonna pass on shopping today

and hang out here" she said. AJ's face dropped and everyone looked up. Not

only was it AJ's job to keep her out of the hotel while they got everything

ready, but AJ was really looking forward to spending the day alone with his

best friend. "NO, c'mon Ei. Ya can't back out of shopping? Who else will go

with me?" he said giving her puppy eyes. "Please Ei. I've been looking

forward to this for so long. Just you and me" he said sadly. He meant every

word too. Lately they hadn't had much time to spend together and he missed

her. She couldn't stand to see his sad face and laughed. "Oh all right AJ.

Just stop with the puppy eyes."

They spent the day running from shop to shop in the East Village. Although

they were having a good time, she still felt bad no one remembered her today.

Especially AJ. He saw that sad look on her face and his heart was breaking.

He just wanted to give her a big hug and a kiss and tell her he hadn't

forgotten, but he knew he couldn't spoil the surprise. He spotted a leather

shop across the street and knowing her passion for leather, he dragged her

right over. She picked out a pair of leather pants and AJ picked out an

outfit for her to try on. "I wanna see how ya look in this babe" he grinned.

From the looks of it, there wasn't much to see. FIrst she tried on the

pants, modeling them for AJ. "So, what do ya think" she said spinning around

so he could see them from all sides. They were skin tight and butter soft.

"Ohhhh you so need to get those" he said. "Oh really" she laughed. "Why is

that?" "Cause there so tight and they make your ass look so hot" he smirked.

She yelled across the store to the saleswoman. "I'll take these please!"

causing AJ to break out into hysterical laughter. "WHAT?" she asked. "Ya

might wanna take them off first before ya yell to the saleswoman Ei" he said.

"Besides, I wanna see how you look in what I picked out."

"Well J, there isn't much of that outfit to try on" she laughed. "Just go put

it on" he laughed, smacking her on the ass. She let out a growl, sending him

into a fit of laughter again. "See ya can't resist me already" she said

sticking out he tongue at him before disappearing into the dressing room.

That woman is insane he laughed to himself. She put on what little of the

outfit there was and yelled from inside the dressing room. "I am not coming

out in public like this AJ." "Why not? Come out and let me see" he insisted.

The outfit was certainly skimpy enough. It was a black leather halter top

that barred her midriff. the top can down to an open V in the front that

barley contained her ample breasts. The skirt was about all of 6 inches long

and also black leather. It was way tight and had a slit up the right side all

the way up to the waist band. Why bother, she thought. She slowly walked out

hoping no one else was in the store. AJ had his back to her, he was looking

at jackets. Seeing no one else was around, she called out to him. "Hey stud"

He turned around to see her and his mouth dropped open. He couldn't get out a

sound. She walked over to him laughing. "Ya better close your mouth big boy.

Ya might catch some flies." It took him a moment to begin to form words.

"DAMN BABY! You look, you look, I can't even think of the words to describe

how you look" he said looking her up and down. "Ughhhhh is slut the word your

looking for?" She giggled. "NO. You look incredible Ei. Gorgeous" he smiled.

"Well I'm going to change now" she smiled at him. As soon as she was in the

dressing room, AJ went over to the salesgirl and had her ring up the pants

and the outfit. When she came out, the salesgirl took both items and bagged

them up. "Wait" she called out to the girl. "I'm only taking the pants" she

said. "Oh the gentleman over there" she pointed to AJ across the store,

"already paid for both outfits" she replied. Eileen walked over to AJ with

the bags in her hands. "Are you crazy boy?" she laughed. "Why did you pay?

and why did you buy that outfit?" she said raising her eyebrow. "Why not?" he

answered. "I just wanted to buy you a present." Shit! the minute the words

left his mouth he regretted saying that. He didn't want her to catch on after

all this time. "But AJ, I could have paid for the pants and I certainly

wouldn't have bought that outfit" she said searching for some sort of sign

that he remembered. "Well I can buy my best friend a present just because" he

said getting tongue tied. "Because why?" she pressed. "Because your my best

friend in the whole world and cause I love ya" he smiled. He put his arms

around her and gave her a hug. "Thanks J. Your the best friend anyone could

have asked for" she smiled at him. "But what the hell am I gonna do with that

outfit. No one in the world will ever see me in that except you" she giggled.

"Oh, but you are so wrong on that one Ei" he said wiggling his eyebrows. "You

and I are going out to Chinatown for dinner and then we are gonna hit the

clubs, and YOU are going to wear THAT outfit" he grinned. "I will be the envy

of every man in New York tonight. Tonight it will be the pimp daddy and his

lady stepping out on the town." he laughed. "Oh J. You are sooooo bad" she

laughed back.

After a few more hours of shopping, AJ and Ei headed back to the hotel to

shower and change for dinner. "Thanks for saying we could go to China Town J.

Ya know its my favorite" she smiled at him. "Yeah I know. Now go change! I

wanna see ya in that hot outfit again" he said kissing her on the cheek. She

showered, and put most of her hair up on top of her head in loose curls,

leaving little strands hanging down the back. She did her eyemake up dark and

sultry. She put on the outfit and 4 inch black leather pumps. She stood

looking in the mirror. I can't go out looking like this, she thought. She

turned around and looked at the back. No way! she giggled. I practically have

no clothes on. With that, she heard a knock on her door. "It's open" she

called. AJ got as far as the doorway and stopped. She gave him a twirl and

said "So what do ya think?" A huge smile played across his lips and he said

"I will be the most envied man tonight. Baby, you look terrific. Let's go hit

the town" he said talking her arm. They had a wonderful dinner and the whole

time Eileen felt like everyone was staring at her. "That's cause you look so

hot babe" he smiled. His stomach was doing flips. She looked so fine. Stop it

AJ! You are on a mission, he thought to himself. After dinner he said to her

"Ei. I forgot my ID at the hotel. Do ya mind if we hop a cab back and go get

it? I really don't want any hassles at the clubs tonight." "Sure" she smiled

as he hailed a cab. They went back to his room where he conveniently left his

license on the dresser. They got in the elevator and headed down. "Ei, when

we checked in, did ya check out the club here in the hotel" he asked knowing

that she didn't. "No. I didn't think of it" she said. "Do ya wanna see if

it's any good while were here and if it's not we can go somewhere else?" he

asked. "Sounds great. Lead the way" she said taking his hand. They got to

where the club was and it was quiet. "It must not be open yet J" she said.

"Well lets peek in and see if we wanna come back later" he smiled. She opened

the door and stuck her head in.

"S U R P R I S E" everyone yelled. "What the fuck?" she said looking at AJ in

complete shock. "Did you really think we would forget your birthday

sweetheart?" he said pulling her inside. The guys walked up to greet them and

were quite taken back by Eileen's outfit. Now she was the one to laugh.

"What? You all look like you've never seem me before" she grinned. "Your a

woman!" Brian said with surprise in his voice. "Well, looks like Bri Bear

finally graduated Sex Ed" she giggled. "Ummm it's just that we've never seen

you dressed up before" Kevin said, lust showing through his eyes. She gave

them a spin and said "J bought it for me this afternoon. I take it you all

approve?" she grinned. Nick laughed, "It figures AJ would buy that." "Hey

boy" AJ called to him. I like my dates looking hot if ya don't mind." That

got a few giggles out of all the boys. "So lets Party!!" Kevin called out to

everyone. All the people who worked with them were there. All night long they

ate, drank and danced. Eileen was in heaven. She was dancing the last dance

of the night with AJ. He had asked for a slow song to be played. "So did you

enjoy your surprise honey?" he asked softly. "I can't believe you kept it a

secret all day" she said swatting his chest. "Thanks Alex. I really thought

you all forgot. I was a little sad today" she admitted. He noticed she had

called him Alex. She only did that when she was emotional. He held her close

and swayed. He felt her hold him tight and he knew she was going to cry.

"Please don't Ei. How could we ever forget you. You are everything to us. We

all love you so much." She looked up at him, tears glimmering in her eyes.

"You guys mean everything to me AJ. I love you all so much. Thank you for

making this so special."

"OK, break it up" Brian came over as the music ended. "The party is over,

they're kicking us out of the club. "Oh wait, Kev didn't we forget

something?" Nick asked. "Why Nick, your right" Kevin said laughing. "Oh no.

What are you 5 up to now?" she questioned. "Well, you'll just have to come

upstairs and find out" Brian smiled. They all piled onto the elevator. She

kept looking from one man to the other. "You guys are up to something. That

worries me" she grinned. "You'll soon see" AJ said holding the elevator door

for them to all step out. "It's in my room" Brian volunteered. They all piled

into the room and Kevin stepped forward. Eileen was really getting nervous

now. "Happy Birthday Angel" he said handing her a thick envelope. "What is

this?" Ei asked. "Why don't you open it and find out" Nick squealed like a

little boy. She opened the envelope and looked inside. A look of surprise

registered on her face. "I know your gonna kill me for this" Kevin started

out. "I told the guys about how much you paid off Lou to get rid of him."

Upon hearing this her face shot up from the contents of the envelope to

Kevin's face. She was about to say something but he stopped her. "Don't be

mad please. What you did for us was way above and beyond what you needed to.

It cost you everything you had to get rid of that slime bucket. And you did

it all for us. From the very first day you joined us, you have worked your

ass off for us. Taking care of everything and taking care of us. Despite all

the problems we've had, you never walked away from us. Believe me I know it

would have been a lot easier for you to do that. But instead, you stuck by

us. All of us. In all the years we've known you, you have never taken a

vacation and just relaxed. So now it's time Ei." She looked down at the

papers again. They had given her a vacation to Hawaii. "I can't believe you

did this" she said looking at all of them in amazement. "Everything's been

arranged Ei" Brian said. "You ticket, your hotel, your rental car, your food.

Anything you want. She smiled up at all of them. She knew she was gonna cry

but tried not too. "Group hug" Nick yelled and they all piled on top of

Eileen. She couldn't stop laughing. They were all jumping around and hugging.

"You guys are nuts!" she laughed. "OHHHHH We didn't tell ya the best part" AJ

said grinning. "Oh? And what would that be?" she inquired. "Howie and I are

going with you!" AJ smiled. "The other guys are going home to see their

families, but D and I didn't want you to be lonely. We leave 2 days after we

get home. Do you mind?" he asked. She looked at him and Howie. Her smile lit

up the room. "That is freakin awesome" she said. She looked over at Howie

and noticed he didn't say much that evening. I hope he's ok she thought.

Chapter 37~

Things started to wind down in Brian's room, as they said their goodnights.

She gave each of the guys hugs and kisses and thanks for a memorable party.

Once again, as she approached Howie she noticed that he didn't seem himself.

This worried her. She went back to her room to find she had 4 messages, all

from Lance. The last one asking her to call back no matter what time it was.

She looked at the clock and saw it was 2am. Well, he said to call no matter

what, she thought dialing the phone. "Hey" she said. "I'm sorry to wake you

but you said to call." "Where were you all day Ei? I was starting to get

worried when I didn't hear from you." he said. "Oh Lance, I had the best day

today!" she said full of excitement. "Oh?" he said flatly. "Yeah. First AJ

and I spent the day shopping in the East Village, then we went to a terrific

place in China Town for dinner and when we stopped back at the hotel for

something, AJ suggested that we stop in the club at the hotel and when we got

there the guys were all there and they had a surprise party for me!" she said

all in one breath. "A surprise party?" he asked. "Yeah, today's my birthday"

she said happily. "Oh sweetheart, I didn't know. I'm sorry babe. I would have

flown up if I knew. I would have sent flowers. Oh honey, I feel so bad now"

he said with sadness in his voice. "It's ok Lance, don't worry about it. I'm

just happy talking to you now" she said with a smile on her face. "I miss you

Eileen" he said gently. "I can't wait to see you in a couple of days. I

promise I will make it up to you and take you out for a wonderful birthday

celebration" he said smiling at the thought of her. "Ummm yeah Lance. We need

to talk about that" she said with a slight hesitation. "What's wrong? Aren't

you coming home in 2 days?" "Yes, but there has been a slight change in

plans" she began to explain. "I'll be coming home on time but only for 2

days. The guys gave me a trip to Hawaii. I leave 2 days after we come back.

"Hawaii, Gee that's really nice Ei" he said a bit disappointed. "Hey! Wait,

maybe I could come with you baby. Just think me, you, the beach, the

moonlight. It could be so romantic." Just hearing him say that with his deep

sultry voice sent shivers down her spine. "Lance that would be heaven, but

there is just one problem. I'm not going alone" she said cautiously. "YOUR

NOT?" he said rasing his voice a bit. "Ummmm no. AJ and Howie are going with

me" she said knowing he wasn't going to like that at all. "Oh that's real

nice Ei" he said in an accusatory tone. "Lance, Why are you being like that?

They are my friends. They are the one's who are taking me. Please don't be

mad babe. It's only for a little while and then I will be back in Florida for

4 months while the guys are recording. I promise we will have plenty of time

together." She said knowing full well he was pissed. He didn't understand her

need to keep their relationship a secret she thought. I can't just invite him

to come along. The guys would have a fit if they knew I was with someone from

N Sync. "Ok Ei, well it's late and I gotta get some sleep. We have an

interview in the morning. Goodnight" he said as he hung up the phone. That

went well she said thought as she listened to the dial tone. She knew he

wasn't going to be happy but she didn't expect this. She got up and started

to walk out of her room. MEN! Can't live with em, can't shoot em! she thought

to herself.

She had been so happy tonight, why did it have to turn out like this she

thought. She found herself walking down the hallway. One down, one to go she

though gently knocking on the door. "Come in" she heard. She entered his room

and it was dark except for a little light from the TV. He was sitting up in

bed, just a sheet covering the lower half of him. He was sipping a glass of

wine. "Hey" he said gently, smiling at her. "Come sit" he said as he patted

the bed next to him. She sat facing him. Even in the dark his body looked

spectacular, The girls always screamed the loudest when he took his shirt

off. "Ei. Did you want to talk to me?" He said watching her stare at his bare

chest. "OH. Ummmm yeah. I did" she said hoping he didn't but knowing he did

see her staring at him. Thank God it's dark in here she thought. She didn't

want him to see how red her face was. "Would you like some wine?" he asked,

holding up a half empty bottle. "Sure, what the hell" she said feeling

somewhat uncomfortable now. He handed her the glass and asked "What's up Ei?"

She looked down at the bed afraid to see the look on his face when she asked

him. She placed her hand on top of his. "Howie, are you upset with me" she

whispered. He took his hand and gently raised her chin up to look her in the

eye. "No Eileen. I swear I'm not upset with you. Whatever gave you that

idea?" He saw how upset she seemed to be about it and he wanted to reassure

her. "Well, you just seemed so down all night and we hardly talked and we

only danced once and that was cause I dragged you out there. I thought maybe

I had said something or done something to make you mad at me." She ran her

hand along the side of his cheek, sending chills down his spine. "You know I

can't stand it when any of you guys are upset with me" she smiled. He took

her hand and kissed it gently. "I promise Eileen, what was bothering me had

nothing to do with you" he smiled back. The two just sat in silence for a few

moments, neither knowing what to say. Finally Eileen asked him, "Do you want

to talk about it?" "I just don't know Ei. It's Claudia. I just don't know

what to make of this whole thing. When we're together things are fine. When

we're not, it all just seems to fall apart. I don't know. All I know is when

I am with the guys and you, I'm happy.When I'm not, I miss you all so much

but Im not sad cause I think about all the fun we've had together and that

makes it ok. When I'm with her I'm happy. When I'm

not, I'm not happy. I'm just sad. Does this make any sense to you? She called

me yesterday and said she would be here tonight for the party. Then she just

doesn't show up. I understand things come up. I think I'm pretty reasonable,

but she didn't even bother to call. That's not right. I know you wouldn't do

something like that." She bit her lip and looked at him. "Ei, you look like

you want to say something so bad. Don't hold back. Just say it" he said to

her. She wasn't sure if she wanted to go there, but it seemed that she needed

to. "Howie, why are you always comparing Claudia to me?" she said barely

audible. He looked at her and smiled. "I compare all the women I meet to you"

he said. "Maybe that's why I don't have a girlfriend." "But why Howie. I

don't understand." She said taking his hand. "Because you are my fantasy" he

said looking into her eyes. "Your the first thing I think about when I wake

up. Your the last thing I think about at night. When I lay in the hotel rooms

night after night, thinking how wonderful it would be to have a woman in my

arms. That woman is you." She smiled softly. That thought was nice. "Eileen,

this new man in your life. Is he your fantasy? Does he make you feel like

your the most important person in the world? Do you feel totally loved by him

without question?" Howie whispered. "No" she said softy. "After tonight, I

don't think I will even have to ask myself those questions. I don't see us

being together much longer." "Why? Did something happen?" he asked with a

worried tone. "He's really upset with me know. I can't make him understand

the way I need things to be. I think when I go back to Florida things will be

over" she said looking down at the bed. "You really like him don't you?"

Howie asked. "I like him. I can't say I love him. I think that takes time. A

lot of time. Time is one of the few things I don't have right now, so I don't

know what will happen." "Don't worry Ei. Things will work out however they

are supposed to be. One way or the other. Now what you need is a really good

fantasy to keep your sprits up" he laughed. She looked up at him and giggled.

"Oh I have plenty of those Mister." He leaned in real close to her and said,

"Can I ask you something. Something very personal?" She noticed the grin on

his face. She leaned her head in closer till there foreheads were touching.

"Go ahead babe. Ask away" she grinned back. "Do you ever......?" "Do I ever

what?" she answered back. He pulled back and laughed. "Do you ever have

fantasies about us? The guys I mean?" She looked at him for a moment before

answering. "You mean collectively? At one time?" she laughed. "Umm can't say

that I have." He got very serious again. "Come on Ei. You know what I mean."

Eileen swallowed hard. This was kind of hard for her to admit. "Yes. At times

I've had fantasies about all of you." There. She said it. It was out in the

open. He leaded back against the headboard and grinned. "Oh do tell Eileen. I

wanna hear all the dirty little details" he said wiggling his eyebrows. She

leaned forward a little and playfully hit his chest. "I'm not telling you

that D. Those are private for me" she said giggling. He took he by the

wrists and pulled her to him."I really don't want to hear about the other

guys. I only wanna hear about me. What do you think of when you fantasize

about me Eileen?" He said running his tongue along her bottom lip. This

turned her on to no end. So much so that she couldn't even speak. " I see it

ya know" he whispered into her ear. "See what D?" she tried to play it off.

"I see the desire in your eyes. You can't hide it. No one can" he said

trailing butterfly kisses along the side of her neck. "I seem to recall

seeing some in your eyes earlier this evening Mr Dorough" she said as she

sucked on his earlobe. "Oh God baby, when you walked into the club with AJ

and I saw how hot you looked, I almost took you right there on the spot. I

didn't care who the hell was there." "Oh so you like my birthday present from

AJ huh?" she said trailing kisses down his neck. He pulled back from her and

grinned the biggest shit eaten grin she had ever seen. "Yeah. I'm gonna have

to thank him for that later."

They both sat unmoving for a few minutes, just staring into each others eyes.

Getting lost in the moment. Howie ran his finger along her lips. She opened

her mouth just enough to take it inside and began sucking on it. "Lets live

out our fantasies tonight Eileen. Just for one night let me love you the way

I've always wanted to do.No worries, no regrets." No words were spoken. She

leaned into him and kissed him gently but passionately giving her answer.

They kissed like that for what seemed an eternity. She finally pulled away

and softly said "take me the way that you would in your dreams Howie" He

slowly began undressing her. "As hot as you look in this, it needs to come

off now" he growled. He was so gentle with her as if she might break. As he

slid her clothing off, he began at her feet. Just slowly kissing and

caressing her leg till he reached the top. Then he began on the other one.

Her mind was reeling. His touch was so soft and gentle and turned her on like

nothing before. He slid his body up along hers to her lips. He kissed her

lips, her cheek, her neck, slowly making his way down. When he got down to

her breasts, he kissed her everywhere but where she wanted his mouth. "Baby,

please don't tease me" she said breathless. He smiled up at her. "Is this

what you want baby?" He asked as he slid his tongue across her nipple making

her jump. "Oh God Howie. Your killing me." "No, that comes later sweetheart"

he laughed. He decided he liked it there and wanted to torture her some more.

She ran her fingers through his long soft hair, reeling in the sensations he

was sending through her body. She slowly started to feel him sliding down her

body, dropping kisses everywhere he could. His hands caressed her skin ever

so gently. He finally found his final destination. All she could feel was his

tongue and hands everywhere. He looked up at her. Her eyes were closed and

her hands were gripping the sheets. "Oh Howie" she moaned. "I think I've died

and gone to heaven." He slowly slid up her body, until he was once again eye

to eye with her. He took her face in both his hands and said "You haven't

gone to heaven yet baby. But I promise to take you there" as he slid inside

her. "Oh my God" was all she could get out as she felt him fill her up. He

moved skillfully and slowly. She wrapped her legs around his waist wanting to

feel him deeper in her. He kissed her with such a passion she had never felt

before. "Is this what it feels like in your dreams baby" she asked him, her

voice sounding husky with desire. "Oh baby girl. This is 100 times better. I

couldn't ever have imagined how good I'd feel inside you" he whispered in her

ear. He kept his pace slow and steady and she wanted none of that. "Please

Howie, faster babe" she pleaded. He looked down at her and grinned evilly.

"Didn't you mother ever teach you patience baby?" he laughed. "No, damn you I

have none. I need you harder and faster Howie, please" she cried. But Howie

totally ignored her pleas. He was living out his fantasy with her and he

never wanted it to end. Finally, after what seemed like a lifetime she felt a

feeling inside her beginning from her feet and washing over her whole body.

She had never felt something so incredible in her life. All she could do was

cry out his name. Drowning in an orgasam so intense, she knew she would never

feel this way again. Shortly following hers, Howie finally let go. An almost

animalistic growl came from him as he emptied his seed inside her. She laid

her head on his chest just trying to catch her breath as he rolled off of

her. He ran his fingers through her long hair and holding her tight to his

body. He never wanted this night to end. After a few minutes, she pulled

herself up to look down on him. She gently ran her fingers across the lips

Chapter 38~

The shows in New York City went quickly. The guys were doing their last

interview and then it was to the airport to head home. One of the questions

the interviewer asked caught Eileen's ear. "What is your fantasy?" he asked.

The guys answered in a variety of ways ranging from meeting a famous person,

winning a Grammy to performing with a famous artist. When they had gotten

down the line to Howie, he just smiled and said, "So far I've lived out all

my fantasies. You'll have to give me time to think of some new ones." He

looked over and smiled at Eileen. She smiled back thinking about their

special night. Not a word had been said between them about it. There didn't

need to be. No worries, no regrets. That's what they had promised each other.

The interview ended and the flight to Florida was quick as they had all slept.

Eileen was the last to be dropped off home, as she was the furthest from the

airport. As the limo pulled up to her house, she saw him. He was sitting on

her front porch waiting for her. Just Great! She thought. I'm not in the mood

for this now. She hadn't taken any calls from him in the last 2 days since

he had hung up on her. He left a tons of messages of apologies and pleas for

her to call him back, but she didn't. If he couldn't accept her relationship

with the guys, then tough shit. She slowly can up the walk and Lance got up.

She put her luggage down on the porch. "Welcome Home" he said softly handing

her 2 dozen peach roses. She was about to say something when Lance cut her

off. " I know your upset with me and rightfully so. I was wrong to be upset

Eileen. That was a really nice thing the guys did for you by giving this trip

and I know how close you are to all of them. I had no right to be jealous

when you said AJ and Howie were going with you and I'm sorry" he said all in

one breath. They just stood there on the porch for a few moments. She looked

at him. He looked like a little boy who had just been scolded. His face was

so sad and his bottom lip suck out a little in a pout. How could she resist

that? "Come on in" she smiled at him. They decided to go out and get some

Chinese food since she had nothing in the house. They came back to her house

and ate and hung out watching some TV. They had fallen asleep in each others

arms. The next morning, she rolled over and found herself in Lance's arms. It

was nice to wake up like that. "Morning Angel" he smiled at her. "Lance, I'm

so sorry I fell asleep. I guess I was more tired than I though" she said as

she snuggled closer to him. "That's ok Ei. I understand. I know what it's

like being on the road. Since you have to spend tomorrow getting ready for

your trip, how bout I take you out for that special evening to celebrate your

birthday like I promised tonight?" he said getting up. "I'd love that Lance.

What do you want to do?" "Well" he said, don't worry about anything. I'll

take care of it. I'll pick you up at 6 ok?" he smiled. "That's fine. What

should I wear?" she asked, kind of trying to find out what he had planned.

"Let's get dressed up sweetheart. It's a celebration remember?" he said

kissing her nose. He looked into her eyes. She was so beautiful. He was

falling in love. This wasn't a good thing.

Eileen stripped off her clothes, hoping into the shower. Just standing there

letting the warm water cascade over her, her mind wandered to Lance. He had

spent the night apologizing profusely. He was such a sweet, gentle man. They

had just spent the night cuddling and watching TV. He didn't pressure her for

any more. It was nice. She had gotten ready and headed to the mall to find

the perfect dress for tonight. She finally settled on a light blue spaghetti

strapped slip dress that showed off her figure nicely. While she was there,

she stopped and got her hair trimmed and lightened to a golden brown.

Promptly at 6 Lance arrived. She was taken back by how good he looked. He was

wearing a light gray linen suit with a soft pick shirt. DAMN, she thought.

"You look beautiful" he said handing her a single white rose. She was

impressed as they stepped outside and saw a limo waiting for them. She knew N

Sync was doing well, but she also knew how Lou liked to take more than his

share of the profits leaving the guys with very little. They had been driving

for a while when they finally arrived at a little restaurant on the beach.

They shared a cozy table outside overlooking the water. "This is so

beautiful" she said as they held hands and watched the sunset. "Not as

beautiful as you Eileen" he said leaning in kissing her gently. After dinner

they took a walk along the beach where he gave her a beautiful gold bracelet

for her birthday. All too soon, they arrived back at her house. They stood on

the porch holding hands. "Lance, I had such a wonderful time tonight" she

smiled up at him. "So did I angel. I'm gonna miss you while your gone" he

said softly. He ran his hand along her cheek, just staring at her. He was

memorizing every feature as if he would never see her again. "Why don't you

come in" she said pulling him by the arm. Silently, they climbed the stairs

to her room. He slid his jacket off and she began to unbutton his shirt.

Moments later they were in her bed. They spent hours holding each other,

kissing and making love. He was a slow, passionate lover. Each reveling in

the moment as if it were there last. Little did they know, they were not

alone.

Eileen, AJ and Howie met at the airport. They were all excited about their

trip. "We are gonna have such a Par-Tay" AJ grinned. "Beaches by day, clubs

by night" Howie said. Eileen smiled. "I still can't believe you guys did this

for me" she giggled. "Paradise with my two favorite men" she said hugging

them both. As the three flew off to heaven, little did they know that all

hell was about to break loose.

Chapter 39~

The first week of the vacation went by so quickly. The three of them spent

their days on the beach. It didn't matter what they were doing, whether is

was swimming, snorkeling, parasailing or just catching some rays. They were

having a blast. At night they were hitting the clubs. One night in particular

they were at a club and partying pretty heavily. One thing had led to another

and the 3 of them found themselves doing body shots. AJ started on her bare

shoulder, Howie on her thigh. Things were beginning to get more intense with

each shot. Finally Howie leaned over and whispered "I can't take this anymore

Ei. Your driving me crazy. How bout we go back to my room and I'll fuck you

till you scream my name?" She looked at him and almost melted on the spot.

Unfortunately for both of them AJ had heard every word. "HEY, HEY! That's not

very nice D. There happens to be 3 of us here. Who says you get to take the

pretty lady back to your room?" he said stumbling to sit down. Eileen laughed

"boys, boys no need to fight. There's plenty of me to go around. Besides you

two are so drunk, I don't think you could get it up right now on a bet." AJ

was dying inside. The thought of the three of them turned him on to no end.

He grabbed her hand and put it on his crotch, letting her feel he was rock

hard and ready to go. "They don't call me bone for nothing baby" he said

staring into her eyes. Eileen felt like her hand was on fire. "I think we

need to get out of here NOW!" she giggled getting off the bar stool. They

hopped a cab and headed back to the hotel. Eileen and AJ were making out as

Howie's hands explored her body. Just as she felt she were going to explode,

the driver announced they had reached there destination. As they got off the

elevator, they were stumbling down the hall trying to hold each other up.

Howie's room was first and they decided they couldn't walk any further

without falling down, so they would use his room. After 10 minutes of trying

to open the door, Howie finally got the hang of the card key and they all

went flying into the room at once falling on the floor, laughing

hysterically. As Howie got off the floor, he was surprised to see what was on

his bed waiting. "Claudia" he gasped. "I was waiting for you to get back, gee

it looks like you were having fun" she said sarcastically. "We were" AJ

laughed as Eileen poked him in the ribs. "Help me up D" she said, since Howie

was the only one standing. He helped Eileen up who in turn helped AJ up.

"Well, we better be going now. Nice to see you Claudia. Goodnight Howie" she

said kissing his cheek. Eileen grabbed AJ's hand dragging him out of the

room." Come on J, someone wants to be alone" she said with an attitude.

"Looks like you've been having a good time" Claudia said snippy. "What are

you doing here babe" Howie asked trying to change the subject. "Well my shoot

finished early and I thought you might be lonely so I would come and see you.

I guess I was wrong about that huh? Christ Howie, it looked like the two of

you were gonna take her right there on the floor. Is this what you've been

doing all week? Cause if ya don't need me, I can just go." She said standing

up. "No baby" he said walking towards her. "I swear nothing was going on. We

just went out and got a little drunk. My room was first so we were coming in

here to watch TV. I couldn't get the door open and when I did we all fell

cause we were leaning on the door. I can't believe you think I would do

something with Eileen Claudia" he lied trying to save his own skin. "Well

Howie, it sure looked that way" she said annoyed. "Well maybe that was AJ's

intention, but you know I only want you baby" he said placing soft kisses

along her neck. "I'm so happy to see you honey. I can't believe your here" he

whispered. "What a fuckin dog!" cried Eileen. They had made there way to her

room and were listening to Claudia yelling at Howie and him trying to dig his

way out. "I can't believe he's lying like that right to her face!" "Well what

do you expect him to do when he's caught by his girlfriend? Do you think he

was really gonna say 'Oh Claudia, AJ and I were planning on fucking her

brains out?' Geeze Eileen. Sometimes you can be so....." "So what?" she

asked, throwing the pillow at him. He picked it up and threw it back. Within

seconds there was a full blown pillow fight going. One of the pillows broke

open and feathers were flying everywhere. They both collapsed on the floor in

a fit of laughter.

Eileen woke up the next morning with a hangover. What the hell happened here,

she thought. Her and AJ were sprawled out on the floor amongst a ton of

feathers. "J, wake up" she said nudging him. "hummm what?" he said rolling

over holding his head. "Why are we on the floor and where are all the

feathers from?" she laughed blowing a few into the air and watching them land

on his face. "Stop" he cried. "That's making my head hurt" he whined.

"Feathers? There making you head hurt?" she yelled into his ear. "Oh you are

so dead" he said getting off the floor. He proceeded to chase her around the

room with her screaming until she tripped and landed on the bed. "Oh your in

for it now" he said climbing on top of her. He tickled her everywhere while

she was laughing and letting out squeals. "Stop please" she laughed, tears

pouring down her face. "Not till ya say it" "NEVER!" she said trying to

wiggle away. "Say it" he said again, not letting her move. "OK, OK just stop!

AJ is the king. My lord and master. Now get off" she said pushing him onto

the bed as the two of them laughed. The only thing that stopped them was when

they heard pounding on the wall. "Hey! we're trying to sleep here. Shut up"

they heard Claudia yell. "Oh yeah, now I remember last night. Her highness

showed up" she said annoyed. She yelled through the wall, "time to get up now

Princess. We're going to breakfast." Her phone instantly rang. "Good morning

Howard" she giggled. "Yeah we're gonna get ready for breakfast now. I'm

starving" she said. "How can you think of food when I feel like this" Howie

said into the phone. "Why D, a little hung over are we? Don't feel bad, so

are we, but I promise you will feel better if ya eat something. OK, we'll

meet ya downstairs in a half. Bye" she said reaching to put the phone back.

Seeing the opportunity, AJ tickled her again. "You are so dead" she said.

"Now go to your room and take a shower" she said getting up. He came up

behind her and put his arms around her. "Why not conserve water. We could

take one together" he grinned. She pulled away and turned to look at him.

"Ummm I don't think so Mr Bone Daddy" she laughed. "Now go" she said swatting

him on the ass. "Ohhh baby, I love it when ya get frisky with me" he laughed.

"Can I ask you something?" he said and she noticed his demeanor changed

quickly. "What?" "Would you have really, umm......with both of us last

night?" he asked quietly. She walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the

cheek. "I don't know if I really could have AJ" she said looking up at him.

"Why, you don't like Howie?" he laughed so hard it made his head hurt. She

looked at him with her hands on her hips, "AJ do you think I could sleep with

you? Your my best friend. Friends don't do that" she said softly. He just

turned and walked out.

At breakfast, the 3 of them sat there drinking coffee and looking like hell.

"So what are we doing today Howie" Claudia asked way to perky for Eileen's

liking. "How bout we lay on the beach for a while and sleep it off like we

usually do" Howie answered, holding his head. "Like you usually do? Is this

an all the time occurrence?" She said looking really pissed at Howie. "Yes

Claudia. It's what we've been doing for the last week . Its called

having fun" AJ answered with the meanest look he could muster. "Well, I don't

like the beach. C'mon Howie. I wanna go site seeing" she said pulling him up

by the arm. He looked to them with that 'I'm sorry' kind look and followed

behind her. "See Ya!" Eileen called. AJ just started laughing. "Damn, that boy

has it bad" he said. "Well fuck her!" Eileen shouted. "Who the hell invited

her anyway. This is OUR vacation. Lets hit the beach" she said as her and AJ

got up. The rest of the week was pretty much the same. No matter what AJ or

Eileen suggested, Claudia didn't want to do it. She always managed to keep a

tight reign on Howie, so they didn't see much of him for the last few days.

The three of them finally boarded a plane back to Orlando. "Did you dump her

ass at the airport this morning or are we gonna be surprised again and she's

joining us going home too?" Eileen glared at him. "C'mon Eileen. Don't be

that way" Howie whined. "I had no idea she was gonna show up. Please don't be

mad guys" he said sinking into the seat. "I'm not mad that she came Howie.

What I am mad at is how you let her spoil all our fun. We were all having a

great time till Miss Priss showed up. Who the hell goes to Hawaii if ya don't

like the beach?" she said practically yelling at him. "Geeze D, I've haven't

seem someone so pussy whipped in a long time. You got it bad man" AJ laughed.

Howie just sunk further down in the seat, wishing it would open up and

swallow him whole. Why do things have to be so screwed up, he thought.

Brian jumped out of the shower to answer his ringing phone. "Hey Kev, what

up?" he asked. "Are you still picking up the 3 stooges today?" he asked.

Brian noted a tone in his voice. "Yeah they get in at 7 tonight. Is something

wrong?" "Oh what would make you think that Bri" he said sarcastically. "Have

you checked you mail today Bri?" He asked. "Well I got it, but really didn't

look at it yet. Why is there something important?" he asked, walking to the

pile of mail that sat on the kitchen table. "Did you get your copy of Bravo

Magazine?" Kevin asked. "Yeah, it's right here. Did they say bad things about

us again?" Brian asked getting annoyed. "Just turn to page 12" was the reply

from Kev. Brian picked up the magazine and turned to page 12. There were

quite a few pics of Ei, AJ and Howie. One in a restaurant, the 3 of them

looking cozy. Then there were some pictures of them on the beach, romping

around. The last picture of them was Howie and AJ both doing body shots on

Eileen. Brian looked at the title of the article which read 'Backstreet

Playmate....is she really just a manager?' There were also a few pictures of

Eileen and Nick together laughing and one with his arm around her. "So what's

the big deal Kev. We know this is such a rag magazine and we know about the

pictures of Ei and Nicky. The other ones just look like there having fun on

their vacation." Brian answered matter of factly. "Well now normally your

right Brian, but turn the page" he answered, the anger rising in his voice.

Brian turned the page and read 'Too bad BSB's manager can't keep it within

their own little group.' There were tons of pictures of Eileen and Lance.

Pictures from the night they were at the bar, their romantic birthday dinner,

but the worst were about 5 pictures of them in bed. "What the fuck?" Brian

said. "YEAH. THATS WHAT I WANNA KNOW" shouted Kevin.

Chapter 40~

During the plane ride home, Eileen leaned over to AJ and said "Maybe we

shouldn't be too mad at him. He really didn't know she was gonna show up. And

besides, we DID have a great time" she smiled over at Howie. He smiled back a

small smile of appreciation. "Yeah I guess she's right ya big lug" he said

punching Howie's shoulder. They talked all the way home about the fun they

had. "I gotta ask ya something" Howie said looking at the two of them. "The

night that Claudia showed up and you guys left, did you.............finish

what we had begun?" he said stumbling over the last part. "Why would you ask

that D?" Eileen said surprised. "Well, cause after I calmed Claudia down a

bit, we heard some weird shit coming from your room Ei" Howie said laughing.

"Like what?" she demanded, not quite remembering all that had happened. "Well

we heard lots of giggling and you yelling something about AJ being Lord and

Master, then more giggling and shit." Howie had tears rolling down his face

at this point he was laughing so hard. "NO! D we didn't do what your thinking

ya pervert" AJ said grinning. "I was tickling her. That's the only way I will

stop when she admits I am King, Lord and Master. Then we had a pillow fight

and there were feathers everywhere. That's what all the laughing was about.

You mean you and Claudia thought we were.....that we were having sex?" AJ

laughed. "Well, yeah. It did kinda sound like it from where we were" Howie

grinned. I wish, AJ said under his breath.

Brian was waiting for them when they got off the plane. The 3 of them

hysterical laughing. "Hey Bri" Howie said giving him a big hug. "Looks like

you guys had fun" Brian answered. Eileen thought she heard a tone in his

voice. Nah. I just imagined it, she thought. As they were heading home Brian

casually mentioned to them "Kev wants us to stop at his place on the way home

guys." "Awww c'mon Brian, it was a long flight and I want to get home" AJ

said. "J, it's important. Real important" was Brian's response. "Is something

wrong?" Eileen asked. Brian was so annoyed with her right now but didn't want

to say anything till they were all together, so he gritted his teeth and said

"I don't think so. Kev just wants to straighten a few things out." They

arrived at Kevin's and all piled into his place. "Hey train, what up?" AJ

said slapping him a high five. They all sat down and Eileen asked "So why did

we have to meet tonight Kevin?" He slowly stood up and walked towards her.

"Check page 12, Eileen. I'm sure you'll find it very interesting" he said

flipping a magazine to her. AJ and Howie were on either side of her and Nick

was standing behind the couch. They all looked as Eileen opened the magazine.

She read what was there along with the guys. "So your annoyed at our vacation

pictures Kevin?" she asked not knowing why this would upset him that much.

"We were just having fun. That's what a vacations for." Eileen said. She was

tired and wanted to go home. She really didn't wanna hear Kevin ragging on

them about their trip. "No, Eileen. I'm not upset by that. It looked like the

three of you had a good time." "You mean the four of us" Howie corrected. The

three guys looked at each other confused. Brian asked "You had someone else

on the trip with you?" "Yeah" AJ said, but before he could say anymore Kevin

crossed the room right in front of them. "You mean you two already knew about

this and kept it from us" he said with such anger. "How could you? Well AJ, I

can understand since he is HER best friend, but you Howie?" Kevin cried.

Eileen looked at AJ. "Is he insinuating I did something with HER?" she said

annoyed. "I guess" he answered back. It was the only thing he could think

that Kevin meant. "That's disgusting Kevin. I can't believe you think I would

sleep with Howie's girlfriend." she said getting up and standing toe to toe

with him. Brian and Kevin looked at each other. "Howie's girlfriend?" Brian

asked. "Yeah Claudia joined us part of the way into the trip" Howie stated.

"That's not what we're talking about at all" Brian said getting annoyed with

everyone. "We're talking about Eileen's little boy toy" Brian yelled. Eileen

stopped dead in her tracks. "What about him?" Howie asked. Kevin walked over

and reopened the magazine. "This is what I'm talking about" he said pointing

to the pictures of Lance and Eileen in bed. She turned to look at the guys to

see Nick's, Howie's and AJ's face fall. "What? What are you looking at?" she

said grabbing the magazine. She quickly scanned the pictures and found her

heart in her throat. "I can't believe it" she whispered. "You can't believe

it" Kevin bellowed. "You fuckin' betrayed us." She looked around the room to

find all eyes on her.

Chapter 41~

"Betrayed you?" She said in shock. "How the hell could you say that Kevin?"

"Real easy" he sneered. "That's exactly what you did. I don't see you denying

that's you in the pictures Eileen." She looked around the room at all their

faces. It killed her to see the hurt on AJ's face. "No Kevin, I don't deny

that's me in those pictures" she said softly. "I have seen Lance a few times.

I don't see why you have a problem with that. Do I say anything about who

you are all dating? Do I say anything when one of you decides to go out and

screw one of your fans cause you can't stand the loneliness anymore? What

right do you have to be upset with me because of whom I've gone out with?"

She said defiantly. "There's a big difference between what we have done and

what you have done Eileen. We never slept with the enemy" Kevin retorted. "Ya

know Eileen, if ya needed to get laid there are five doors you could have

knocked on day or night" Brian said disgusted. Eileen laughed in his face.

"Been there, done that Brian and look what it got me" she answered back. She

stood up facing them. "You know what? Fuck you all. Who the hell do you think

you are?" she said yelling at them. "I have spent my whole adult life with

you guys, catering to your every whim. I have been friend, lover, confidant,

and your fuckin errand girl. Now I see your true feelings!" she screamed.

"Enough of the bull shit, Ei" he said grabbing her arm. "I don't want to hear

how you've done everything for us. You betrayed us. Betrayed us in the worst

way. Out of all the men in the world, you had to choose him. You choose him

over us" Kevin bellowed. "Between the sheets, do you tell him what's doing

within our group Ei? Does he know all Backstreets little secrets?" Brian

asked. "That's what you think I would do to you" she said glaring at all of

them. All she got back were empty stares. All except for AJ, who turned his

head away. He couldn't bare to look at her. She lied to me, he thought. I

would never have believed she would do this to us. Eileen couldn't bare to

see his hurt any longer. "I'm sorry you all feel this way. I never betrayed

anyone of you or the group" she said pulling her arm away from Kevin and

walking out. She took her luggage from Brian's car and walked to the curb.

She took out her cell phone and called a cab to take her home.

By the time she arrived home she was numb. She had no tears to cry. I've

cried enough tears over them to last a lifetime she thought. They didn't

believe her. After everything they had been through together. All the ups and

downs, no matter what they had always worked things out. But that was over

now. A lot of things were over now. She didn't know how long she had been

sitting on the couch. Was it 5 minutes or maybe 5 hours, she didn't know. She

didn't care. She heard a knock at the door and not wanting to deal with

anyone tonight, she just ignored it. Whoever it was wouldn't go away. She

slowly made her way to the door. She opened it to find Lance on the other

side. "Surpris...." he stopped in mid sentence when he saw the look on her

face. "Baby, what's wrong?" he said closing the door behind him. She didn't

say a word. She walked back to the couch, drawing her knees up to her chest.

Lance sat beside her. "Eileen talk to me. What happened?" he put his arm

around her and she drew back away from him. "Dammit Eileen. Talk to me" he

shouted. She looked into his eyes and said "My heart is broken." A lone tear

streamed down her face. "It's broken into a million pieces" "Talk to me

Eileen, let me make it better" lance replied. "You can't Lance. No one can"

She said getting up and walking to the kitchen table. She picked up her copy

of the magazine, opened it, and handed it to Lance. He scanned the pictures

quickly. "Oh My God!" he said. "I'm assuming the guys saw these?" he asked.

"Oh yeah. They saw them all right. They hate me now. They said I betrayed

them" she said finally breaking into sobs. He tried to take her in his arms,

but she pushed him away. "Lance, please don't be angry but I want to be

alone. Please go" she said. "OK. I understand. I will call you tomorrow" he

said kissing her forehead. As he got into his car, he took out his cell phone

and made a call. " Well Lou, your missions accomplished."

Chapter 42~

Eileen couldn't sleep. She had spent the night pacing. She had way to many

unanswered questions floating around in her head. Why now? Where did those

pictures come from of Lance and I ? How did someone get close enough to get

such intimate pictures? Who was behind this? Why didn't Lance seem that upset

or shocked? She couldn't stand it anymore. Occasionally she would pick up

something and throw it. It didn't really make her feel any better, more like

something to do.

Eileen picked up the phone and placed a call to Marilyn in Germany. They had

become friends during the years she was over there with the boys. She had

connections to almost every magazine in Europe. She wanted answers and she

wanted them now! "Hey Marilyn, it's Ei" she said when the phone was answered.

"Marilyn, I need your help" she pleaded. "I don't know if you saw, but Bravo

just ran an article and pictures about me in the latest issue." "Yeah I saw

it" she said laughing. "Mar! What are ya laughing about?" Eileen said not

understanding. "Well if its true than you go girl!! Ei's gettin a little

play" she laughed again. "Listen sweetie, everyone knows that magazine is

such a rag. Don't sweat it." "Marilyn, I need to get a hold of the author of

that article. I need some information from her. I know she's not gonna take

my calls. Can ya help me out here?" Eileen begged. "Who is she?" Marilyn

asked. "Her name is Jane Van Buren" Eileen responded. From the other end of

the phone she heard laughter again. "What the hell is so funny now Mar?" she

said getting frustrated. "My darling, Jane was my college room mate so I

don't think there will be a problem reaching her. Let me make a call and I'll

get right back to you" she replied. "I really owe ya one for this Marilyn.

Just one thing, Call me on my cell." She also called and set up a meeting

with her attorney for noon. Within the hour her cell rang and she checked

the caller Id. It was Marilyn. "Hi Honey" Marilyn said quickly. "I have a

surprise for you. Jane is on this call too so we can conference." "Oh God,

thank you both so much" Eileen said excited. "Eileen, I'm sorry if I caused

you any problems. I was given a story and told to run with it" Jane said

right off the bat. "Oh Jane, I understand you were doing your job. I just

need some info from you. Would it be alright if I taped this call" Eileen

asked. "Sure, I've got nothing to hide" Jane said as Eileen turned on the

recorder on her answering machine. "Jane, who first approached the magazine

with this story?" she asked quickly. "Lou Perlman did. He came up to the

magazine one day with his group N Sync for a photo shoot and Lou said he had

the story of the century for us" Jane replied. "Lou and N Sync were in on

this?" She said shocked. Lance, how could you? She thought. "Yup, we all sat

around the conference table and Lou said how he could come up with pictures

of you and a member of N Sync in various situations. Including intimate ones,

as well as some Backstreet pictures." Eileen was getting more annoyed by the

minute. "Did Lou tell you which member?" She asked through gritted teeth.

Jane responded immediately. "Yeah, Lance. The other blonde one with the deep

voice." "And Lance was there during this conversation?" Eileen asked hurt.

"Yeah, he was making jokes about it and Chris volunteered to take the

pictures. I'm sorry if what I printed hurt you in any way Eileen" Jane said

sincerely. "Well Jane, You've just redeemed yourself in my book" She said.

She couldn't hold it against Jane for that scumbag Lou's brilliant ideas.

"Would it be ok if I kept in touch with you Jane? I don't know what is going

to come of all this, but if it doesn't go my way, I will have on hell of a

story for you" Eileen said. "Sure" Jane replied. "I'm always up for a good

story. I'm glad there are no hard feelings Eileen."

Eileen jumped into her car and headed for the attorney's office. He greeted

her warmly as always. She sat down and looked up at him. "I need you to make
